Monday night on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the late-night host mocked the President’s hostile relationship with the press by giving him a fake pro-Trump news network. Kimmel opened the segment with feigned sympathy, snarking that the media was “very hard” on Trump but he “deserved” “even-handed” coverage, before playing a clip from “Trump TV.”

Wednesday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, HBO liberal talkshow host Bill Maher came on the show to bash conservatives and call on the media to hold Trump accountable. Without any sense of irony, Maher lectured Kimmel on the need for hosts like him to hold Trump’s “feet to the fire” as if the media gives Trump the adoring Obama treatment. Maher then told Kimmel that the media can’t treat the right the same as the left after this election because one side had gone to “crazytown.”

On Tuesday, the Big Three networks' morning newscasts all hyped President Obama's appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live the previous evening. On CBS This Morning, Gayle King, a political donor for the Democrat, marveled how the President's "timing is good. He seems to have a lot of fun with 'Mean Tweets.' He takes it all in stride." On Today, NBC's Matt Lauer touted Obama's "phone drop moment" after he mocked Donald Trump on the late-night program. Cecilia Vega spotlighted the same "Mean Tweets" segment on ABC's Good Morning America.

Three of the late-night comedy programs went live to react to Wednesday’s final presidential debate and the assembled hosts and guests offered vulgar jokes comparing Donald Trump to a sex toy, phone sex operator, and man who needs breast feeding while dubbing Trump debate guest “Sarah Palin is the HPV of American politics.”

In an unusual turn of events, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was “very disappointed” that Jimmy Kimmel failed to ask her about UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) during an appearance on his late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! last November.

The reason? She had practiced her answer on the topic beforehand, according to an internal Clinton campaign email made public by WikiLeaks.

At the onset of his monologue on Wednesday, ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel offered a rather lame excuse for why he sticks almost exclusively to joking about Donald Trump and not Democratic presidential opponent Hillary Clinton because she’s too “boring” to be made fun of. If that head-shaking moment wasn’t enough, CBS’s Late Show host Stephen Colbert offered a quip via video that Gollum from Lord of the Rings was assisting Clinton in her debate preparations by playing Trump and whining about “wicked, tricksy immigrants.”

On Monday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! , Kimmel talked to Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, keeping the interview light-hearted and friendly, defending her from her critics, as he usually does. He didn’t bring up the Clinton Foundation but did bring up the newly found additional 15,000 e-mails from Clinton’s private server. Kimmel asked if she was “concerned” about the e-mails being released before the first debate.

ABC's Jimmy Kimmel ranted against climate change skeptics on his late-night program on Monday, and accused them of being lackeys for "companies that make pollution for a living." Kimmel singled out Sarah Palin for her promotion of the recent documentary, Climate Hustle, and bemoaned that the issue was even political: "Climate change is not a liberal versus conservative thing. But the people who profit from ignoring it want you to believe it is....the idea that this is some kind of a left-wing conspiracy is nuts."

On Thursday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC, the late-night host played into the typical liberal line, that conservatives and Fox News viewers are just a bunch of angry white people.

After making some jokes about former contestants of The Apprentice denouncing Trump, Kimmel moved to the topic of Fox News Channel host Megyn Kelly and her meeting with Donald Trump earlier this week.  Kimmel joked that the meeting reminded him of a “forced hostage” situation, before slamming both as only caring about “getting white people very angry.”

On Wednesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC, the usually-friendly talk-show host had Ted Cruz on as his guest and while the interview started out friendly, Kimmel soon made jabs at Cruz for being unlikeable and attacked Cruz’s claims about ObamaCare and radical Islam. When Cruz referred to ObamaCare as a "disaster," Kimmel countered that he hadn’t heard “one” negative story about ObamaCare.

In the first full weeknight since The National Enquirer tabloid published its unsubstantiated piece alleging that GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz has been engaging in extramarital affairs, late-night comedy hosts Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel spent portions of their Monday monologues promoting the smear as legitimate and wondering how any woman could be interested in Cruz.
