We’ve time and again seen the media receive their messaging orders - and then march off all mouthing the Leftist talking point(s) of the day. Washington, D.C.-based talk radio host Chris Plante quotes a military friend of his describing the media not as a gaggle, but as a centipede. Multitudinous legs in coordinated movement - all headed in the same direction.
Talk radio impresario Rush Limbaugh has long made audio cavalcades of this media mal-practice a routine feature of his show. He strings together “media montages” - innumerable examples of “reporters” magically all arriving at the exact same Leftist term(s) to describe the news of the day.
In the aftermath of the murderous rampages like the recent one in Oregon, some weep for the dead and pray for the wounded. Others, such as the Huffington Post feminist Soraya Chemaly, exploit such barbaric acts of violence to push their own political narratives. As stated in Chemaly’s headline, the real culprit behind mass shootings like the one in Oregon is “Masculinity, Masculinity, Masculinity.”
As if we don’t get enough of Kanye West’s nonsensical comments (president Yeezus 2020 anyone?), the rapper recently made another “important” announcement.
According to a candid two-hour interview with SHOW studio, Mr. Kardashian is up in arms with the fashion industry for being discriminatory against him. This isn’t a “hands up don’t shoot,” #blacklivesmatter discrimination though. West complained the fashion industry discriminated against him because he isn’t gay. Oh the irony.
The old journalism adage of “If it bleeds, it leads,” is a well-known one. A modern innovation of that saying, to suit the race-obsessed liberal sports media hell-bent on stoking the flames of racial hatred, might be: “If it’s not bleeding, poke it, and see what happens.” Such a mentality was clearly in use when USA Today writer Jorge Ortiz penned an article titled “Baseball’s culture clash: Vast majority of brawls involve players of different ethnicities.”
Ultra-lefty actress and comedian Margaret Cho is feeling the Bern. And apparently her choice to support self-proclaimed socialist Bernie Sanders caused her great anguish because she is also an adoring Hilary Clinton fan.
Recently on HuffPost Live, Cho was asked if she had any intentions to run for office someday.
“I’m not sure if I have the, uh, moral fiber and fortitude and integrity that it would take to be a real politician and you know by real politician I mean somebody like, um, Senator Sanders or of course the wonderful Hilary Clinton,” Cho responded.
The healthy living editor for The Huffington Post reacted to the CNN GOP debate by criticizing Donald Trump and others for “peddling dangerous and bad ideas about health,” because of their remarks about vaccinations.
Criticism of “anti-vaccination” stances is rich coming from Huffington Post, which has repeatedly been a platform for anti-vaxxer opinions including actor Jim Carrey’s. In 2009, Carrey insisted that there was still uncertainty about the safety of vaccinations. Over the years, others also stoked fear about vaccination safety including David Kirby, Dr. Bob Sears and comedian Bill Maher.

During an article posted Tuesday by Jim Romenesko on his website, the retired newsman relayed what happened when David Sze -- a member of Arianna Huffington's research staff -- got more than he bargained for last week when he contacted professional journalist Laurel Lipton, asking to use information she had reported in a book the co-founder of the liberal Huffington Post is in the process of writing, with the promise of citing that research.
Lipton responded angrily, stating: “The rapacious Ms. Huffington seems to believe that journalism skills are worth nothing, and that my beleaguered colleagues and I should be thrilled to help her make hundreds of millions of dollars in return for 'exposure.'”
