Following Santorum’s campaign announcement, MundoFox dedicated a full segment of its national newscast to an analysis of Santorum’s position on the relation between U.S. immigration policy, jobs and salaries in the labor market.
On Wednesday night, major broadcast networks CBS and NBC showed no interest in shedding light on the findings of new Quinnipiac poll that found Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s honest and trustworthy ratings are continuing to fall and she trails three possible GOP opponents in three battleground states. While the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News focused exclusively on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, ABC’s World News Tonight made time to report on both Trump and Clinton.
Following the release on Tuesday of a second video by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) depicting a Planned Parenthood executive discussing the selling of body parts from aborted babies, ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News teamed with the top Spanish-language networks to completely ignore the video. Stepping out from behind ABC and NBC and Spanish-language networks MundoFox, Telemundo, and Univision, the CBS Evening News offered a two-minute report on CMP’s second video.
