According to feminist icon Gloria Steinem, America’s best bet for stimulating the economy isn’t tax cuts or trillions of dollars in spending, but equal pay for women.

In a Dec. 15 interview with Fusion, Steinem claimed that “Equal pay for women of all races would be the biggest economic stimulus the economy could possibly have.” She specifically said it would be “way better” than the last stimulus.

Why wasn't Univision anchor Jorge Ramos' "gullible" smear against Catholics included in English-language version on Fusion?

Philippe Verdier, a popular weatherman on the France 2 television channel, found himself suddenly unemployed after publishing a book entitled Climate Investigation in which he charges the “climate change industry” is “a war machine whose aim is to keep us in fear.”

According to an article written by James Delingpole at the Breitbart news website, “this went down very badly with his employer, which is funded by the French government and is ideologically committed to promoting the global warming scare narrative.”

After watching anchor Jorge Ramos’ complete interview of Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Fusion, I immediately began to speculate as to which parts would be left on the cutting room floor during its Sunday rebroadcast on Univision’s Al Punto. It didn’t take me long to find out that I was right.

On Monday, Fusion senior editor Felix Salmon echoed New York Times writer Mark Oppenheimer's call for the end of the tax exemption of religious institutions, but took it one step further: he called for the specific targeting of churches that "remain steadfastly bigoted on the subject" of same-sex "marriage." Salmon contended on Fusion.net that "if your organization does not support the right of gay men and women to marry, then the government should be very clear that you're in the wrong. And it should certainly not bend over backwards to give you the privilege of tax exemption."

There is something to be said for the warm cocoon of academia, and its ability to draw out the true thoughts of radicals. Univision News President and Fusion CEO Isaac Lee's recent presentation at the University of Texas at Austin was certainly no exception.

Lee’s eye-popping remarks should serve as a timely reality check for conservatives looking at how to factor in Univision as part of their Hispanic outreach/inclusion strategies.  During a Q&A with NYU professor Jay Rosen, Lee was asked about Univision’s “theory of trust” and truth-telling as related to impartiality and news coverage.  Here is the Univision News President’s answer in all its glory.
