On Tuesday’s The Kelly File, Senator Ted Cruz took exception to a question about whether he would deport all 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States as a “liberal journalist” question. Kelly asked the Texas Republican “if you have a husband and a wife who are illegal immigrants and they have two children who are here who are American citizens, would you deport all of them? Would you deport the American citizen children?”

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith appeared on Late Night, Monday, and told host Seth Meyers that no one knows who he voted for. The journalist insisted, "Well, I don't tell them. So, people don't know." Meyers blurted, "But people can't read it on your face?" The comedian added, "Let me try. Did you vote for Obama?" Smith replied, "No." After a pause, he quipped, "I might have lied." The Fox anchor then insisted, "If I got around to voting last time, I don't remember."

Asked by Mika Brzezinski who was the most powerful person in the media today, Confessore responded: "I think Fox or Rush Limbaugh [whose last name Confessore pronounced "Lim-bow], right? In this primary, right? There were two institutions that could have put a stop to Trump, talk radio and Fox. And talk radio likes him and Fox backed down."

On Tuesday night, ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News ignored a new development in the growing Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal with news just prior to the newscasts that two of Clinton’s e-mails were found to have been “top secret” by the intelligence community’s inspector general. Meanwhile, the CBS Evening News was only able to scour together a 27-second news brief on the story while FNC’s Special Report explored it extensively in correspondent Mike Emanuel’s segment on the 2016 Democratic presidential primary.
