How damaging to Republicans are Speaker-presumptive Kevin McCarthy's comments in which he tied the drop in Hillary's poll numbers to the Benghazi hearings? Very damaging, according to the With All Due Respect duo on today's show. John Heilemann called them a "disaster" for congressional Republicans and GOP presidential candidates alike.  Mark Halperin called them a "huge, huge problem" for the GOP.

Interestingly, Halperin praised committee chairman Trey Gowdy, saying that he had been "carefully preparing the hearings, trying to do what no Republican has done in a long time, run a politically effective, substantive hearing." But, said Halperin, there's "almost nothing he can do now."

Promoting the new season of his ABC sitcom Last Man Standing, actor and Republican Tim Allen joined Thursday’s Hannity on Fox News Channel (FNC) to blast the federal government over reckless spending, the national debt, and a culture of political correctness that he tries to rebuke on the show where he plays “a very smart Archie Bunker.”

Fox News Channel (FNC) host Bill O’Reilly tore into Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz during the talking points memo portion of Thursday’s O’Reilly Factor over what he deemed “the biggest smear so far in the presidential campaign” against GOP presidential candidate Marco Rubio and a donor with a massive historical memorabilia collection.

At the top of Tuesday’s The Kelly File, host Megyn Kelly joined MediaBuzz host Howard Kurtz and 2016 Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz in scorching the liberal media for their portrayal of Pope Francis’ visit to the United States as bad for the GOP while ignoring his steadfast support for life and traditional marriage.

During an appearance on Fox News’ MediaBuzz on Sunday, Republican commentator Mercedes Schlapp compared the recent GOP presidential debate on CNN with that on Fox as being like a “Montessori school” that was “unstructured.”

MSNBC's Morning Joe and CNN's New Day both interviewed Carly Fiorina on Thursday after she did well at the Republican presidential debate. However, the two programs failed to bring up her dare to President Obama and Hillary Clinton to watch the hidden camera videos exposing Planned Parenthood's sale of unborn babies' organs and tissue. CNN's Alisyn Camerota and Chris Cuomo largely skirted the issues during their segment with Fiorina, with Cuomo asking about her lack of smiling during the debate.

Following Wednesday night’s Republican presidential debate on CNN, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly analyzed the network’s debate format and noted how CNN’s moderators “made the debate very personal using Donald Trump’s attacks on other Republicans to frame questions.”

During the first “All-Star Panel” segment on Tuesday’s Special Report, Fox News Channel (FNC) contributor Charles Krauthammer offered blistering criticisms of Senate Democrats for their support of the Iran deal along with Senate Republicans for not invoking the nuclear option by introducing a resolution disapproving of the deal.

On Megyn Kelly's Fox News show on Wednesday, Andrew Napolitano sharply criticized the city of Baltimore's agreement to pay $6.4 million to the family of Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old black man who died in police custody there in April.

The Associated Press and most of the rest of the establishment press are describing the city's payout, which was approved on Thursday, as a "settlement" — an odd and inappropriate term, given that Gray's family had not yet filed a lawsuit, i.e., there was not yet a court case to "settle."

Fox News Channel (FNC) host Bill O’Reilly slammed the liberal media at the top of Wednesday’s O’Reilly Factor for not having exposed the “the disastrous foreign policy of the Obama administration” in a pattern of behavior that he proclaimed as “simply stunning.” O’Reilly kicked off his four-minute-plus opening commentary by highlighting results of a recent  national poll on the Iran deal that found only 21 percent of Americans in support of it, which he then concluded that shows “the folks have turned against President Obama's deal with the mullahs.”

In a heated yet entertaining battle of the minds, the Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly faced off on Wednesday night against Fusion/Univision anchor Jorge Ramos for a seven-minute-plus bout over the proposed Kate’s Law, illegal immigration, and Ramos’ decidedly liberal tilt toward advocacy that had O’Reilly telling Ramos that “you’re not a newsman anymore.”

Well this certainly falls into the weird news section. Longtime Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner is suing Hasbro toy company for making and selling a toy hamster with her exact name -- after Hasbro was warned earlier this year to discontinue selling it.

Six-time Emmy Award winning journalist Harris Faulkner (Outnumbered, Fox Report Weekend)  wasn’t too happy to find out her unique name was used for a plastic rodent (albeit a cute one) for Hasbro’s popular “Littlest Pet Shop” toy line. Faulkner alleges that her likeness was also used in designing the toy in terms of its complexion, eye shape and eye makeup, according to the suit.
