Hillary Clinton is set to testify before the Benghazi committee on Thursday but the liberal media have spent weeks laying the groundwork for her. Instead of putting the onus on Clinton, her now-discredited story of the attacks being spurred by an anti-Muslim video, and her shady scheme to bypass the State Department e-mail system, the media have led up to the hearings by touting the supposed partisanship of the investigators.

During an appearance on Fox News’ MediaBuzz Sunday, former Special Report anchor Brit Hume blasted the media for its over-the-top reaction to recent comments Dr. Ben Carson made about guns in the wake of the Oregon shooting. Hume observed that “some of the reactions to his statements were bordered on hysterical.”
While the “big three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC all prominently touted on Monday President Obama’s defense of Hillary Clinton on her e-mail scandal in a 60 Minutes interview, none of the three dared to report later in the week how the Obama administration largely walked it back by declaring that Obama believes Clinton’s private e-mail server “does not pose a threat to national security” “based on what has been made public” so far.

ABC, CBS, and NBC's morning and evening newscasts, along with the on-air programming of the three major cable news networks, have yet to cover the Wednesday announcement that Florent A. Groberg, a retired U.S. army captain, will receive the Medal of Honor on November 12, 2015 at the White House. Captain Groberg is being recognized for "his courageous actions while serving as a Personal Security Detachment Commander for Task Force Mountain Warrior, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division during combat operations in Asadabad, Kunar Province, Afghanistan on August 8, 2012."
Rupert Murdoch is in a pickle, and the famously abrasive lefty writer Taibbi is loving every minute of it. In a Tuesday article for Rolling Stone, Taibbi portrays Murdoch as “desperate… because he senses his beloved audience of idiots” abandoning Fox News in favor of Donald Trump, “a onetime Fox favorite who is fast becoming the network's archenemy.”
Taibbi argues that Fox News must routinely dumb itself down in order to stay popular; Murdoch and Roger Ailes, he writes, “know they've spent a generation building an audience of morons. Their business model depends on morons; morons are the raw materials of their industry, the way Budweiser is in the hops business…[But] you have to keep upping the ante to make it work. Trump is…going to places now that make even Rupert Murdoch nervous.”
Discussing the media’s reaction to Tuesday’s presidential debate during Thursday’s O’Reilly Factor, host Bill O’Reilly and The Five co-host Dana Perino blasted the liberal press for their pandering to Hillary Clinton after pushing for Vice President Joe Biden to run that’s now turned into calls for him to stay out of the race.

On Tuesday night’s Kelly File, MRC President Brent Bozell helped preview CNN’s Democratic presidential debate and demanded that the cable network treat the Democratic candidates the same as the Republicans were treated when Jake Tapper moderated CNN's Republican debate. In response to CNN’s Anderson Cooper who claimed it will be hard to get the Democrats to actually challenge each other, Bozell stressed the CNN host doesn’t have “the right to in a solo way decide what he’s going to do on a network that has done just the opposite with Republicans.”

During an appearance on Fox News’ O’Reilly Factor Monday night, veteran journalist Bob Woodward had a bleak assessment of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign which he said was clearly in trouble. Woodward explained that “there are lots of unanswered questions, particularly on the e-mail but as I read your book about Reagan, which is a full excavation of his biography and everything in his life, every stage, we need to do that with Hillary Clinton.”
In a humorous and pithy takedown of President Obama for his performance on CBS’s 60 Minutes Sunday, Fox News Digital Politics Editor Chris Stirewalt appeared on Monday’s edition of The Kelly File to express his astonishment with how Obama’s reached “the point of utter incredulity, even with people who were once very admiring” like 60 Minutes correspondent Steve Kroft who Stirewalt described as “the sort of number one Obama-nuzzler in the whole stable of Obama-nuzzlers.”

On Wednesday night’s Kelly File, Fox News hosts Dana Perino and Howard Kurtz had some harsh words for the upcoming movie “Truth” which attempts to tell the story of how a fake story about the National Guard service of George W. Bush resulted in the downfall of CBS Evening News anchor Dan Rather.

According to Fox’s Scream Queens, negligent homicide and murder cover-up is a strong indicator of your potential to make it on Fox News.

During an appearance on Monday’s Kelly File on Fox News, Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina hit back at the Washington Post and MSNBC for accusing her of failing to pay back outstanding debt from her 2010 Senate campaign. After Fiorina explained that “the debt has been paid off,” which “the Washington Post fails to mention entirely. See facts aren’t really what the Washington Post is into anymore.”
