All three networks on Tuesday hyped Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards appearing before Congress, insisting the pro-abortion leader will “staunchly defend” her organization in the wake of the sting videos. During the news briefs, ABC and CBS didn’t show any of hidden videos.

On Saturday morning, the major broadcast networks were at it again in bashing the “far-right” and “unruly hardliners” in the House Republican caucus for causing Speaker John Boehner’s impending resignation announced Friday that CBS added could hurt the party’s chances in 2016 if the “infighting” continues.

An hour before news broke that House Speaker John Boehner would be resigning from Congress at the end of October, on CBS This Morning, Face the Nation moderator John Dickerson declared that the Republican leader “had the high and the low yesterday, spending time with the Pope and then three hours with those conservatives who are giving him a lot of trouble on trying to keep the government open and funded...”

On Thursday’s CBS This Morning, Nancy Cordes helped preview Pope Francis’ speech before Congress by stressing the supposed uneasiness Republicans have with his visit to the United States. In her introduction of Cordes, co-host Norah O’Donnell wildly proclaimed that “like everything in Washington the Pope's statement are being put through a political filter. Conservatives in Congress seemed to be most concerned about what Francis might say in his speech here today.”

Pope Francis and Barack Obama have a lot in common, at least according to CBS This Morning on Wednesday. Reporter Major Garrett skipped over disagreements like abortion and the health care mandate and instead connected: “Pope Francis arrives defined at least, in part, by his humility also as an instrument of change within the church and an international celebrity.... President Obama knows a thing or two about change and celebrity.”

Pope Francis is kicking off his American tour and attracting attention not just from Catholics, but the liberal news media that love everything the pope does that they agree with.

If history repeats itself journalists will praise the pope for every liberal thing he says during the visit, especially about the economy, capitalism and wealth. The networks have called him “a different kind of pope” and one “breaking the mold” that view has been evident in their news coverage of Pope Francis since he was named pope March 13, 2013.

All three networks on Friday slammed Donald Trump for not denouncing a campaign supporter's “hateful rhetoric.” ABC, NBC and CBS also promoted Hillary Clinton “pouncing” and “hammering” Trump. Yet, on August 28, when Clinton blasted GOP candidates for wanting to put illegal immigrants in “boxcars,” a reference many thought to the Holocaust, the same networks did not attack the Democrat as hateful or call for condemnation.

In a near 180-degree reversal to his interview the previous evening with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, Democratic presidential candidate and socialist Bernie Sanders found himself on Friday’s CBS This Morning being repeatedly slammed from the right by co-host Norah O’Donnell on his far-left tax plans and hope for a universal health care system.

Monday's CBS This Morning and NewsNation on MSNBC both failed to give a political label for a liberal group that put up a billboard in Kentucky that mocks that social conservative beliefs of Kim Davis and traditional marriage supporters. CBS correspondent Jericka Duncan referred to Planting Peace as merely a "non-profit organization." MSNBC journalist Sarah Dollof also noted their non-profit status and reported that "they're focused on humanitarian and environmental initiatives."

ABC on Sunday and Monday hid the damaging details of its own poll, minimizing Hillary Clinton's plunging popularity. Instead, World News and Good Morning America shifted the focus to Donald Trump and his continued surge. Clinton's "dramatic" fall appeared only on ABCNews.com. It was left to competitors CBS This Morning and NBC’s Today to probe the numbers. With an on-screen graphic crediting ABC, CBS This Morning co-host Charlie Rose explained, “Only 42 percent of Democrats in the national poll are backing her now.”

On Monday, CBS This Morning brought on Anita Dunn, former White House Communications Director for Barack Obama, to promote Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign as well as Democratic rivals Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.

Two weeks after offering a mere 21-second news brief on allegations that the Pentagon altered intelligence data on ISIS “to provide a more optimistic account of progress” against the terror group, Thursday’s CBS This Morning was the only network morning show to report on 50 intelligence officials confirming that their analyses were changed.
