ABC "Nightline" co-host Dan Harris appeared on the Steve Malzberg show Friday on Newsmax TV to promote his new book promoting meditation called "10 Percent Happier." After the two communicators discussed having panic attacks while they were broadcasting, Malzberg concluded the interview by asking about liberal media bias.

Harris repeatedly said he was "open" to the idea, but insisted it was subconscious, and that "very, very powerful" people at ABC are conservatives. [See video below.]

Conservative actor Kevin Sorbo had some harsh words about the state of politics in America today. Sorbo appeared on “The Steve Malzberg Show” on March 17 to discuss his newest project “God’s Not Dead” and to share is thoughts on being a conservative actor.

Appearing on Maltzberg’s show Monday, Sorbo laughed at the idea that “In the last two elections if you didn’t vote for Obama you’re considered racist” and asked “what does racism have to do with it?” The star of Hercules went on to mock liberals who said they would vote for Obama “because he’s black, it would be cool to have a black president” which Sorbo argued is “racist” because “if I said I’m voting for McCain because he’s a white guy you’d call me a racist.” [See video beginning at 8:48 below.]

As NewsBusters previously reported, the New York Times on Sunday published a controversial front page piece about the events surrounding last September's attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya. It immediately evoked harsh criticism from House Intelligence Committee chairman Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) who said on Fox News Sunday, "[T]hat story is just not accurate."

On Monday, Congressman Peter King (R. N.Y.), the chairman of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterintelligence and Terrorism, shared Rogers' disgust with the Times while telling Newsmax TV's Steve Malzberg the paper is trying to "help Hillary Clinton and also to take an issue away from Republicans no matter who the Democratic nominee is" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

In his first interview following Friday's announcement by A&E that it was ending the suspension of Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson, Jesse Jackson said, "I do not feel good about it."

Speaking with Newsmax TV's Steve Malzberg, Jackson not surprisingly misrepresented Robertson's words falsely claiming, "[H]e talked about how happy blacks were under segregation, how the Civil Rights movement interfered with their happiness" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

As NewsBusters reported Sunday, liberal cartoonist Ted Rall was recently banned from the progressive website Daily Kos for publishing a comic strip with Barack Obama in it that was deemed to be racist.

On Monday, Rall spoke with Newsmax TV’s Steve Malzberg about the incident, and warned that if Hillary Clinton gets the Democratic nomination for president in 2016, “sexism will be the new racism” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

As NewsBusters previously reported, HBO's Real Time this past Friday once again featured some truly disgusting attacks on the Pope, priests, and the Catholic Church. This has led the Catholic League to formally request HBO and Time Warner fire host Bill Maher and cancel the show.

On Tuesday, after Newsmax TV's Steve Malzberg played a clip of Maher and guest Dan Savage from Friday's program to Catholic League president Bill Donohue, Donohue responded (video follows with transcript and commentary):

When former Alaska governor Sarah Palin famously said years ago that ObamaCare included death panels, the liberal media went nuts declaring her a kook while defending the law.

On Monday, Time magazine’s senior political analyst Mark Halperin, appearing on Newsmax TV’s Steve Malzberg Show, agreed that this was the case saying, “It's built into the plan. It's not like a guess or like a judgment. That's going to be part of how costs are controlled” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Dear Joe:

I just read this exchange between Steve Malzberg and you.

Washington Times columnist Charles Hurt wrote a piece Tuesday claiming that cancer survivor Edie Littlefield Sundby losing her health insurance as a result of ObamaCare proved former Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s point regarding death panels.

Hurt took this position further with Newsmax TV’s Steve Malzberg Wednesday saying that President Obama and the media think “government should be God” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

MSNBC's Al Sharpton on Monday took issue with George Will saying on Fox News Sunday, “Of course I want ObamaCare to fail.”

When Newsmax TV's Steve Malzberg played a clip of that Tuesday, Will laughed through much of it before he responded (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):

NewsBusters readers are likely aware that Congressman Alan Grayson (D-Fl.) recently sent out a fundraising letter equating the Tea Party with the Ku Klux Klan.

Appearing on Newsmax TV’s Steve Malzberg Show Wednesday, Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fl.) denounced Grayson while saying of the media’s lack of coverage of this matter, “If that was a Republican or a conservative of course, they’d be calling for their resignation” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

The 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard is considered one of the nation's most notorious hate crimes.

Yet when a new book comes out by a gay author contending that Shepard was not killed because of his sexual orientation, America's media appear disinterested in reporting the new revelations.
