Introducing a segment on Tuesday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer proclaimed: “The tragic mass shooting in Charleston has renewed questions about gun control and the gun culture in this country.” He then led into a report by left-wing MSNBC correspondent Ronan Farrow, who the network “sent out to meet the new face of gun ownership.”
Ronan Farrow

On the Monday after the Oscars, MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Mika Brezinski appeared on her colleague Ronan Farrow's canceled-but-still-broadcasting to promote her "Know Your Value" campaign to teach women how to be more effective negotiators in the marketplace for better pay and benefits. During her chat with Farrow, the issue of "pay inequality" in Hollywood was discussed, including the allegation that movie star Jennifer Lawrence was "underpaid" relative to her male co-stars in 2013's American Hustle.
Brzezinski ludicrously insisted that Lawrence should demand back pay from producers of the film.

It hasn't exactly been unexpected. In fact the probability it would happen has been reported on for weeks but today it's official. MSNBC has dumped the shows of Ronan Farrow and Joy Reid due to horrible ratings.

Ronan Farrow's ratings at MSNBC remain horribly low. So what to do? Why, take his terrible interviewing skills out of the studio and put them on the road.

Shades of Pauline Kael! Tuning to Ronan Farrow's MSNBC show today, I was surprised to find him in Paris, and asked myself: what is he doing there? One thing shortly became clear, he wasn't talking to a wide range of people.
Because in discussing the absence of any top US officials from President Obama on down from the Paris march yesterday, Farrow claimed that "everyone here that I spoke to personally said they understood the limitations of schedule that led to that." Everyone? Really, Ronan? What kind of bubble do you float in?

You say you want a revolution? Former NAACP president Benjamin Jealous just analogized the fear for their lives that black youth feel about police to the fear the colonists felt toward the "Redcoats"—British soldiers during the time of the American Revolution.
Jealous, now with the leftist Center for American Progress, made his inflammatory remark to Ronan Farrow on the latter's MSNBC show today. Rather than challenging Jealous, Farrow thanked him for his "impassioned take." Has it come to this? A significant civil rights leader analogizes race relations in the United States to the revolution that led to the creation of our country, and all an MSNBC host can do is thank him for it?

On Tuesday afternoon, MSNBC host Al Sharpton conducted a news conference with attorneys for the family of Michael Brown. Immediately following the news conference, MSNBC host Ronan Farrow expressed his outrage at the lack of charges brought against Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson for the shooting death of Michael Brown. Speaking during his Ronan Farrow Daily program, the MSNBC host proclaimed “Reverend Al Sharpton along with attorneys for Michael Brown’s family, Benjamin Crump and Anthony Gray, giving their first remarks since the incendiary announcement in Ferguson last night.”

According to MSNBC, as long as you tout left-wing talking points, it doesn't matter what kind of conspiracy theories you subscribe to. Ronan Farrow on Wednesday hyped the "fascinating" views of Jesse Ventura on Wednesday, including his opposition to building the Keystone pipeline and to call Republicans "hypocrites."

On Thursday's Daily Rundown on MSNBC, Jim Miklaszewski misidentified the political ideology of the protesters that attacked three American sailors in Istanbul, Turkey. Miklaszewski reported that "these radicals – these right-wing radicals, who are pro-communist and anti-U.S. – were more intent on propaganda than causing these individual sailors harm." The perpetrators are members of the Turkish Youth Union, which hold left-wing views.

Jonathan Gruber declined to be interviewed on Fox News by Megyn Kelly yesterday. Instead he appeared on a complete pushover today in the form of Ronan Farrow. Gruber actually made less of an attempt to defend his video remarks about deceiving the public about Obamacare than Ronan Farrow who claimed that Gruber was being "nuanced." After that Ronan delivered convincing proof that he is a horrible interviewer.

The liberals on MSNBC have already begun to pre-spin the reasons behind a possible Democratic disaster in Tuesday's midterms: It's because the party didn't tout Barack Obama's "accomplishments." Host Ronan Farrow complained: "But, if these Democratic candidates are just flouting the President and at a time when he faces a tough environment on the hill already, sort of adding to his woes, do they risk alienating Democratic voters with that kind of divisiveness?"

Ronan Farrow's entry into the world of broadcasting was greeted with great media fanfare this past February. However, due to his lousy ratings, Mediaite is now reporting that Woody Allen's "son" might be cancelled by MSNBC next month.
