During an appearance on Thursday’s CBS This Morning, Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren was repeatedly pressed from the left about Hillary Clinton’s presidential prospects within the Democratic Party. Norah O’Donnell asked Warren whether or not Hillary Clinton was liberal enough: “In the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton could announce any day now that she is going to seek the presidential nomination for and presidency in 2016. Do you think she's the future of the Democratic Party?"

Filling in for Bob Schieffer as moderator of Face the Nation, CBS’s Norah O’Donnell conducted two vastly different interviews regarding multiple religious freedom laws being debate across the nation, by treating Sarah Warbelow of the Human Rights Campaign to a softball interview but repeatedly pressing former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) over his support for such laws.

In interviews with all three broadcast networks on Tuesday, newly-announced Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz was pressed on whether he would abandon his conservative principles in a White House run. Matt Lauer: "In your short time in the Senate you've developed a reputation as a guy who does not back down, who will not compromise....Will you bring that brand of no-compromise to the White House if you're elected?"

Tax Day is rapidly approaching and most Americans say the federal tax system “should be completely changed.”

The Pew Research Center recently conducted a poll that found a majority of Americans supported “Congress completely changing the federal tax system.” Pew announced the findings March 19, which showed 59 percent of its respondents agreed with a total overhaul of federal taxation.

The media's decades-long love for all things Kennedy continued on Monday's CBS This Morning. Co-host Norah O'Donnell reported from Japan to fawn over U.S. ambassador Caroline Kennedy. Previewing an upcoming 60 Minutes story, O'Donnell enthused, "She's almost greeted like a head of state here in Japan. Incredibly popular."

CBS News contributor and Republican pollster Frank Luntz convened a focus group on Hillary Clinton that aired on Friday’s CBS This Morning and while many expressed their frustration with the possible 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, Luntz failed to mention both Clinton’s email scandal and questions surrounding the Clinton Foundation. As opposed to asking about these important stories, Luntz blamed his focus group for not bringing them up and instead threw softball questions at them concenring Bill and Hillary Clinton and Hillary’s qualifications to be president.

For the fifth day in a row, the “big three” (ABC, CBS, and NBC) networks have obsessed over comments made by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani in which he questioned President Obama’s love of America. Since the Giuliani story first broke on Thursday, February 19, the “big three” have given the story 21 minutes and 22 seconds of coverage, with NBC representing 14 minutes and 53 seconds of that total.

One day after Ash Wednesday marked the beginning of Lent, Thursday's CBS This Morning decided to make a resolved two-month old controversy at a San Francisco Catholic school a national news story. Co-host Norah O'Donnell teased the segment: "Controversy at American Catholic archdiocese. Elementary school students are given pamphlets with some blunt language on sex. It's just one of several disputes that's creating a new divide."

On Wednesday, the Washington Post revealed that “[s]ince its creation in 2001, the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation has raised close to $2 billion from a vast global network that includes corporate titans, political donors, foreign governments and other wealthy interests.” Despite the potential conflict of interest facing Hillary Clinton if she decides to run for president in 2016, CBS This Morning gave the story a mere 20 seconds on its Thursday broadcast. ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Today ignored the story altogether.
