In a near 180-degree reversal to his interview the previous evening with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, Democratic presidential candidate and socialist Bernie Sanders found himself on Friday’s CBS This Morning being repeatedly slammed from the right by co-host Norah O’Donnell on his far-left tax plans and hope for a universal health care system.

It's a tough business....it’s just that it was handled in way that was unnecessary. While ABC’s World News Tonight aired on Tuesday David Muir’s exclusive interview with Hillary Clinton, the CBS Evening News and NBC Nightly News soldiered on with full stories on the 2016 campaign boosting the Clinton camp’s “reset” trying to promote the candidate’s “fun side...along with a lighter touch” in an attempt “to match the exuberance surrounding Bernie Sanders.”

Despite a combined eight hours of air time, the three networks on Friday allowed a scant one minute and 48 seconds to the latest details of Hillary Clinton's evolving e-mail scandal. This, despite the revelation that a top Clinton adviser announced he will plead the Fifth Amendment. In contrast, ABC, NBC and CBS devoted a staggering 41 minutes and 54 seconds to various rock concerts.
