It seems improbable that the left might have too high an opinion of a Fox News personality, but it’s happened with Megyn Kelly, argued Jack Mirkinson in a Wednesday article.

Mirkinson noted that liberals have enjoyed several “extremely fun episodes in which [Kelly] made mincemeat out of (usually male) right-wing pundits,” but claimed that those instances have “helped obscure the fact that, far from being some objective oasis in a conservative desert, [The Kelly File] is usually just as right-wing and authoritarian as anything else on Fox News,” which in general he considers “a crude propaganda machine” peopled by “braindead hacks.”

On Monday’s The Kelly File, Fox News’ Megyn Kelly and Judge Andrew Napolitano blasted MSNBC’s Al Sharpton for using a speech for the tax-exempt NAACP to “simultaneously attack police, criticize Republicans, advocate for the Democrats, organize street protests, and promote his MSNBC broadcast all in one.”

Bill Scher of the leftist Campaign for America's Future expressed delight in a Politico article that "Fox News Eats Its Own."

"The first Republican presidential debate will air on Fox News and will be moderated by Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace—who happen to be the same three anchors that have provoked three Republican candidates into embarrassing gaffes this month. Turns out Fox News’ anchors can make Republican candidates look just as bad as MSNBC’s." And yet it's a GOP talking-point network?

At the top of Tuesday’s Kelly File on the Fox News Channel, host Megyn Kelly tore into President Obama and his remarks at Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day where “America's commander in chief celebrate[d] the absence of a major war, while his own top security advisers warn the American people directly that the danger right now is greater than at any time in a half century.”

In a Thursday interview recorded for Megyn Kelly's Fox News show that evening, Charles Krauthammer provided stunning evidence rarely mentioned even on Fox — and almost never in the establishment press — relating to how unserious the administration's and the Pentagon's "strategy" has been in containing, let alone defeating, ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

Krauthammer began discussing the inadequacy of the American military effort at the 1:58 mark of the video which follows the jump, charging that President Obama is only "pretending to be doing something," and discussed the long-term consequences if the situation doesn't turn around.

The Clinton cohorts are out to defend Hillary, and their maxim is that no Democratic scandal is really a scandal. Former Obama spokesman Bill Burton was on Fox News Channel’s The Kelly File Tuesday night, where he was pressed by Megyn Kelly on the “cloud of corruption that follows” Clinton everywhere she goes.

Speaking with Megyn Kelly on Thursday’s Kelly File, Fox News Channel’s MediaBuzz host Howard Kurtz slammed ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos for committing an “unthinkable” blunder in making previously disclosed donations totaling $75,000 to the Clinton Foundation that’s “so severe that it really threatens to undo” his record over “his 18 years at ABC News.” When asked by Kelly just “how bad is” this scandal, Kurtz began by reminding viewers that it’s “[s]uch a bombshell that George Stephanopoulos has now had to withdraw as ABC's moderator in the Republican presidential debate next year.”

Secret police raids in Wisconsin targeted conservatives whose only crime seems to have been donating to conservative causes. Yet, the story, first reported in National Review, has been ignored by the networks. It was only Fox News that highlighted the story on Wednesday. Correspondent Trace Gallagher explained how Wisconsin's John Doe investigation allowed prosecutors to go after conservative groups, such as the Wisconsin Club for Growth. Then, it expanded to supporters.

On Saturday, Newsweek reported that the largest donor to the Clinton Foundation “may be in breach of US sanctions” on Iran due to his business dealings with the authoritarian regime in his capacity as the billionaire head of a Ukrainian pipe-making business. Since the article went public, the “big three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC have yet to even acknowledge this new development. Wednesday’s The Kelly File on FNC led with this story and Howard Kurtz noted how Newsweek itself buried the story which has generated little notice.

On Monday’s The Kelly File, Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano hammered Hillary Clinton over her foundation’s alleged practice of receiving foreign donations in exchange for political benefits during her tenure as Secretary of State.

On Wednesday night’s The Kelly File, Fox News hosts Megyn Kelly and Howard Kurtz took the media to task for literally chasing down Hillary Clinton’s campaign van in Iowa earlier this week. Kelly joked that the reporters running after Clinton reminded her of the recent video of Arizona police chasing after escaped llamas: “[t]he police did their best to try to capture and elusive subject, and the reporters did the same. Not comparing the subjects to one another, I want to underscore that. But these reporters, how embarrassing.”
