On Friday, Lloyd Grove at The Daily Beast made fun of the rather slow launch of the Sarah Palin pay-TV venue. The headline is “Stuck in the Lamestream: Sarah Palin TV Barely Registers on the Web.” This is instantly mockable since The Daily Beast is the Tina Brown-run outfit that drove the print edition of the formerly hallowed Newsweek straight into the hard cement.

A few hours ago Daily Beast editor-at-large Lloyd Grove published a deliciously scathing review of MSNBC's new Up Late that premiered Friday.

From the very first sentence, readers could tell he wasn't impressed: "This is a terrible and surprising question, but is Alec Baldwin really that boring?"

It now makes total sense why so many liberal media members thought President Obama killed at Saturday's White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Writers from the "Daily Show" helped craft the jokes.

Such was reported Sunday by the Daily Beast's Lloyd Grove.

Not surprisingly, Grove was amongst the fawning, gushing, swooning crowd attending the event given the superlatives present in his love letter to the President which he tellingly called "Obama Trounces Leno" (h/t Big Government):

It today's "Who's Using Vitriol To Defend President Obama" segment, Lloyd Grove, the editor at large of the Daily Beast, is quite displeased with CNN's Lou Dobbs.

After the teaser to his article published Wednesday called Dobbs an "immigrant-hating, birther-supporting zealot," the former New York Daily News columnist claimed the CNN host has made a "Kafka-like metamorphosis from WASPy establishmentarian to angry-populist cockroach."

Nice imagery, yes?

In his piece titled "What Happened to the Real Lou?" Grove let Dobbs have it early and often:
