This week, reporters cheer the Supreme Court ruling which saved ObamaCare from its own sloppiness, with ABC's Terry Moran enthusing: "'ObamaCare 2, conservatives 0' is the score right now," while NBC's newly-elevated anchor Lester Holt trumpets how "so many families" say the government takeover of health care has been "quite literally a lifesaver." And, Rolling Stone smears the GOP as provoking violence against African Americans: "The Republican Party has weaponized its supporters [and] made violence a virtue."

If this was intended as a defense of discredited NBC Nightly News anchor/fabulist Brian Williams, ex-MSNBC ringleader Keith Olbermann should have bitten his tongue instead.
Appearing on Late Show with David Letterman last night, Olbermann described Williams as a friendly acquaintance of nearly 20 years and scrupulous newsman who takes "personal responsibility" for errors in his newscast, even if someone else makes them.

On today's Morning Joe, discussing the Rudy flap, Mika Brzezinski said: "I question the patriotism of someone who questions the president's patriotism." Joe Scarborough retorted that for years on MSNBC, Keith Olbermann got away with saying much worse about W without criticism from Mika or others in the MSM.

Huffington Post media correspondent Michael Calderone reported on the latest batch of documents released from the Clinton Presidential Library. It shows that not only did MSNBC host Keith Olbermann beat his breast across the media in 1998 about his overflowing guilt over covering the Monica Lewinsky-presidential perjury story. He actually wrote to the president about it.
A presidential aide named R. Scott Michaud referred to an e-mail from the MSNBC star: “Keith Olbermann has written to POTUS [President of the United States] apologize for, ‘whatever part I may have played in perpetuating this ceaseless coverage (of the Lewinsky story)…. I’ll be heading back to my previous career in sports as quickly as possible.’” Clinton aides planned a warm presidential reply.

What's a sign that a liberal media outlet has made a disastrous hire? Having fellow Keith Olbermann publicly lambaste you for doing so. The former MSNBC anchor, now on ESPN, assailed Huffington Post for hiring a 9/11 conspiracy theorist to cover national security. An outraged Olbermann quoted the tweets of former football player Donte Stallworth, including this one: "No way 9/11 was carried out by dying bin Laden, 19 men who couldn't fly a damn kite. Still have no evidence Osama was connected, like Iraq."
Olbermann noted that, despite dismissing his own tweets as something that he doesn't believe anymore and that occurred five years ago, Stallworth was tweeting 9/11 truther propaganda nine months ago. The sports anchor mocked, "So, your supposed news website just hired to cover national security a still theoretically active NFL player with no journalism experience, who is a 9/11 truther, supposedly reformed about being a 9/11 truther, but lying about when he reformed."

As surely as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, it seemed inevitable that moonbat cable news personality Keith Olbermann would soon do something to sour his relationship with his current employer, obscure cable channel Current TV. After all, he still remains the same man who famously spent days in the bathroom in fits of rage rather than report for work.
We don't know what that something was, but it appears that the former ESPN-MSNBC-Fox Sports-MSNBC anchor has managed to commit it for, as noted by New York Times media reporter Brian Stelter, Olbermann does not appear to be part of the channel's lineup to cover the Iowa caucuses or the New Hampshire primary election. Instead, viewers will be treated to performances by Current's usual stable of failed politicians and MSNBC rejects:
