Donald Trump’s proposed immigration policy - which includes a call to end birthright citizenship - has triggered fiery reactions including, predictably, that of Univision anchor Jorge Ramos. However, Ramos’ reactions bear a heavy whiff of hypocrisy.

In Monday evening’s edition of network bias by omission, CBS and NBC neglected to stories concerning a data breach of American taxpayers at the scandal-ridden IRS and the Obama administration finally giving approval for a major oil company to begin oil drilling in the Arctic off Alaska’s coast. Surprisingly, ABC’s World News Tonight picked up the pieces and provided their viewers with coverage of a full segment on the IRS breach and a brief on the future of drilling in the Arctic.

This week, with the nation’s largest abortion provider under fire for allegedly selling baby body parts for profit, CNN’s on-air hosts lecture Republicans on the need to maintain the flow of taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood. “You shouldn’t rush to defund,” CNN’s Chris Cuomo told one GOP congesswoman. California is hitting one home run after another on behalf of its teeming population of unauthorized immigrants. Or at least that’s the way it’s seen on the nation’s top Spanish-language television network, Univision.

If Univision could be arrested for doing the public relations bidding of Hillary Clinton’s political director, Amanda Rentería, there sure would be ample evidence for a conviction.

Si Univisión pudiese ser arrestada por hacerle relaciones públicas a la directora política de Hillary Clinton, Amada Rentería, hay suficiente evidencia para una condena.

A Jorge Ramos interview with self-styled socialist and Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was the occasion for Univision’s first broaching of the still-developing scandal of Planned Parenthood’s practices in trafficking the body parts of aborted babies, as revealed in a series of undercover videos produced by the Center for Medical Progress.
