Following a contentious interview on Sunday’s Meet the Press, on Monday’s Today, NBC continued to harp over Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina’s recent statements condemning Planned Parenthood and their practice of harvesting fetal body parts. During a report on the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, reporter Peter Alexander proclaimed “[f]acing new scrutiny of her own, Fiorina’s defending her claim that Planned Parenthood employees were caught on tape keeping a fully-formed fetus alive to harvest its brain.”

Don't put that popcorn-popper away just yet . . . On today's Morning Joe, Chuck Todd said he felt that in his Meet the Press interview of Hillary Clinton yesterday, she was signalling to her Dem supporters that there could be more damaging revelations to come on the email scandal.

Todd was alluding to the moment in the interview in which Hillary agreed with his characterization of a "drip, drip, drip" aspect to the scandal.  When Todd asked whether she could "reassure Democrats that there's nothing else here," Hillary's answer was a very un-reassuring "there's only so much I can control."

On Sunday, Hillary Clinton appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press and moderator Chuck Todd made sure to give the former Secretary of State some softball questions to help justify her use of a private e-mail server during her time at the State Department.

On Sunday’s Meet the Press, moderator Chuck Todd attempted to lecture Carly Fiorina over her past statements regarding Planned Parenthood but the Republican presidential candidate repeatedly stood her ground. Throughout the combative interview over the authenticity over videos that purported to show a baby that survived an abortion Todd tried to press Fiorina on whether she was “willing now to concede that you exaggerated that scene?”

As news broke of House Speaker John Boehner planning to resign from Congress, MSNBC’s hosts and correspondents used the opportunity to bash conservatives in the House of Representatives. Late in the 10 a.m. ET hour, Andrea Mitchell worried: “...he's stepping down under the threat of the caucus...and it remains to be seen whether the more radical conservative members who wanted to shut down the government can actually gain control of the caucus...”

Mere moments into House Speaker John Boehner’s press conference on Friday discussing his resignation on October 30, the “big three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC were quick to chastise conservative House members on Boehner’s “far right flank” that compose the “no compromise crowd” and “some grassroots conservatives who happened to be elected members of the House.”

In the litany of network news coverage Thursday night on Pope Francis’s address to Congress, ABC’s World News Tonight largely stayed away from the Pope’s comments about abortion and traditional marriage by relegating them to vague references while CBS and NBC did their due diligence and mentioned them amidst their continued obsession over the Pope’s liberal positions.

During a live NBC special report minutes after Pope Francis concluded his address to Congress on Thursday, Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd hailed the speech and hoped it would prevent a possible government shutdown over defunding Planned Parenthood: “I can’t help – and I apologize for bringing in crass politics into this, but we are six days from the government possibly shutting down and I can’t tell you how relieved I am to hear the Pope give these words.”

The “big three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC all failed to cover on Tuesday night a new chapter in the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal concerning the reason she turned over her work-related e-mails while CBS also neglected to tell their viewers that Clinton finally came out against the Keystone XL oil pipeline after pressure from liberals and environmentalists.

Filling in for Chris Matthews on Hardball tonight, NBC's Chuck Todd noted at the open of the program that Pope Francis's U.S. visit would likely yield moments where he speak out to the discomfit of both Republicans and Democrats on certain policy issues. Yet Todd himself didn't seek the emulate such balance when he interviewed Catholic senators Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) and John Hoeven (R-N.D.).

During live MSNBC coverage prior to the arrival of Pope Francis on Tuesday, ex-NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams returned to television and asked Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd: “We try not to make everything political. What is the political angle in your shop of this visit by the leader of Catholics worldwide?” Todd replied: “Democratic Catholics who are elected officials, have never been more excited about this Pope coming....Republicans, it’s just the opposite. They're a little nervous. Is he going to put them in a box on climate change?

On Sunday’s NBC Meet the Press, moderator Chuck Todd hyped Pope Francis taking on liberal agenda items: “The incredibly popular pope has been outspoken on his views about inequality and climate change....[in the] Shriver Report snapshot poll of American Catholics, a full 86% think it's a good thing that this pope has emphasized income inequality and environmental issues over things like abortion and same-sex marriage. It’s remarkable.”
