The liberal, pro-gun control governor of Connecticut came under very little scrutiny, Friday, in an interview for CBS This Morning. Daniel Malloy has signed an executive order that would ban anyone on the federal no-fly watch list from purchasing a gun in his state. Instead of offering constitutional or due process questions, co-host Charlie Rose touted, “Connecticut's governor vows this morning to do what the U.S. Senate would not when it comes to gun control.”

This week, the media double down on Obama's anti-gun agenda and mock those who offer prayers as "cowards" hiding behind "meaningless platitudes." Also: NBC's Chuck Todd fears that, after San Bernardino, "our politics could be very ugly and very negative" thanks to Americans' "Islamophobia," while CNN can't figure out if the attack was because of radical Islam or "postpartum psychosis."

On Friday, the CBS This Morning anchors badgered Marco Rubio on his opposition to gun control. Gayle King touted Obama's words on the issue: "The President said...that it's far too easy for people to get weapons, and that we need to figure out a way to make it harder for them. In this particular case...it wouldn't have made a difference. But there are so many other cases it seems...that it would have made a difference." King later wondered, "What about the freedom of Americans to go to the mall; to go to church; to go to school?"

In a contentious exchange with House Speaker Paul Ryan on Thursday’s CBS This Morning, co-hosts Charlie Rose and Gayle King repeatedly pressed the Republican leader to take up gun control legislation in the wake of the San Bernardino shooting. Rose began: “But why don't you...call the President and say, ‘I'm going to come down Pennsylvania Avenue, let's you and I start off and do something about this right now’?”

On Thursday, both CBS This Morning and NBC’s Today eagerly promoted the New York Daily News attacking Republicans for sending “thoughts and prayers” to victims of the San Bernardino shooting but not signing on to liberal gun control measures. This Morning co-host Gayle King declared: “I think this headline’s very powerful.”

Wednesday's CBS This Morning raved over the new movie Spotlight, which touts the work of the investigative reporters at the liberal Boston Globe who chronicled the Catholic priest sex abuse scandal in the Archdiocese of Boston. Gayle King gushed, "Gosh, that movie was so good." She later labeled the movie "very powerful." Fill-in anchor Kristen Johnson asserted that the new release was "such a fantastic movie."

On his PBS late-night talk show on Monday night. Charlie Rose brought on Gen. David Petraeus for an hour to discuss Iraq, Syria, and defeating ISIS. There was one obvious question: Would Rose ask the general about the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s e-mails? After all, Gen. Petraeus was sentenced to two years probation and fined $100,000 for possessing classified information at an unauthorized location.
The answer – this being liberal PBS – was “No.” The transcript ran 9,532 words without the word “e-mail.”

In the latest piece of ObamaCare news that the liberal media have chosen to ignore, ABC, NBC, and Spanish networks Telemundo and Univision skipped on Thursday night and Friday morning word from United HealthCare from Thursday that it may withdraw from ObamaCare exchanges in the future after reporting losses of around $700 million for the year.

In the wake of the terrorist slaughter in Paris, one might expect coverage of the Obama administration’s announcement that five more detainees would be released from Guantanamo Bay. Yet, NBC’s Today show, despite a four hour run-time, ignored the story. The New York Times, which often is used by the networks to select story topics, covered the release.

New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet couldn’t care less if Edward Snowden is a traitor or not, he just regrets missing out on getting an exclusive. He told PBS host Charlie Rose, on his November 9 show, that he would’ve gone as far as giving Snowden a “back massage” to land the story for the Times.
