Charles Lane, an editorial writer for The Washington Post, believes that Republicans are wasting their time discussing border violence and crime caused by illegal aliens because “It’s not a real issue.” Lane appeared on a special report with Fox News’s Bret Baier, and took on the topic with a panel that included conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham, and weekly Baier panelist Charles Krauthammer.

In their coverage on Monday night of the calls by South Carolina officials to remove the Confederate flag from the State Capitol’s grounds, the major broadcast networks failed to note the full context of the flag’s history in the Palmetto State and how it was a Democratic Governor who first hoisted it above the Capitol dome in 1962. Meanwhile, Fox News’s Special Report noted this fact during one of the show’s “All-Star Panel” segments with host Bret Baier reporting how a Republican was in office when the flag was taken down from the dome and moved to the Capitol’s grounds as a compromise in 1998.

Following news on Wednesday that the Obama administration will send 450 additional U.S. troops back to Iraq to help train the Iraqi military against ISIS, ABC’s World News Tonight and the CBS Evening News chose to exclude any criticism of the Obama administration’s ISIS policy while NBC Nightly News made multiple critical points about the administration as Richard Engel declared: “It’s hard to see how a few hundred non-combat troops are going to make much of a difference.”

The “big three” of ABC, CBS, and NBC all refused to mention on Monday night comments made by President Barack Obama earlier in the day in which he attacked the Supreme Court for taking a case regarding ObamaCare subsidies and warned them not to rule that they’re unconstitutional. They remained on the sidelines as FNC's Special Report with Bret Baier worked to once again fill the void with not only a full segment, but also a discussion of it with the show’s “All-Star Panel.”

In a Thursday interview recorded for Megyn Kelly's Fox News show that evening, Charles Krauthammer provided stunning evidence rarely mentioned even on Fox — and almost never in the establishment press — relating to how unserious the administration's and the Pentagon's "strategy" has been in containing, let alone defeating, ISIS in Iraq and Syria.

Krauthammer began discussing the inadequacy of the American military effort at the 1:58 mark of the video which follows the jump, charging that President Obama is only "pretending to be doing something," and discussed the long-term consequences if the situation doesn't turn around.

The Thursday panel on Fox News Channel’s Special Report with Bret Baier took on the issue of the Obama administration’s so-called policy in addressing ISIS and blasted the President for maintaining that the U.S. and its allies are not losing the fight against the Islamic extremist group despite the seizures this week of Ramadi in Iraq and Palmyra in Syria. Leading the way was FNC contributor Charles Krauthammer, who asserted that “[t]he administration is sounding like Baghdad Bob during the invasion of Iraq” and that “[t]hey're losing” which “[e]verybody understands.”

Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer hypothesized on Wednesday’s Special Report with Bret Baier that, if Hillary Clinton moves to either support or remain indecisive on the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal, it “could provoke” liberal Senator Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) to challenge Clinton for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination. Despite having previously hailed the deal in 2011 while Secretary of State as “the gold standard,” Clinton has yet to fully comment on TPP since legislation was introduced in Congress to ratify the deal.

The Thursday panel of FNC’s Special Report with Bret Baier took on the late-term abortion debate between Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul and Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and included The Weekly Standard’s Steve Hayes declaring that it could represent a possible “hinge point in abortion politics.”

Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer appeared on the panel for Fox News’s Special Report on Tuesday evening and blasted President Barack Obama for refusing to directly comment on the Wall Street Journal report that Israel has been spying on the negotiations with Iran over its nuclear deal as well as the administration for acting as if Israel’s actions are unprecedented.

One of MSNBC’s favorite contributors, Eugene Robinson, graced Monday’s Washington Post with an opinion article that accused Republicans of “Obama Derangement Syndrome.” In an article entitled “Deranged by Obama, Republicans are spouting nonsense,” Robinson described the “feverish delirium” of those who dare to criticize President Obama for being unpatriotic.

According to the Post correspondent, “this is obviously a nonsensical thing to say about a man who was elected president twice and has served as commander in chief for more than six years.”
