ComcastNBC loves its customers….but it hates some of them. What else is there to say about a major American media corporation that just is so eager for business - but hates the conservative beliefs of some of those same customers?

This teensy problem -- disapproving the politics of its customers -- is now threatening to throw a monkey wrench into the media giant’s bid to merge with TimeWarner Cable, a bid that would put the combined giants into 66% of American homes wired for cable.

During the Christmas season, the national media hoped to once again dip the entire Republican Party in the mire of David Duke and other racists, to spread that taint across the political landscape. Republicans fought back with Obama’s long association with his racist Reverend Jeremiah Wright, which the media worked hard to erase as utterly irrelevant.

But here’s someone who hasn’t been removed from the spotlight around Obama. We recently found an amazing video The New York Times made about Al Sharpton, the unrepentant racial hoax-exploiter. Sharpton has never suffered from ruining reputations and causing strife over teenager Tawana Brawley’s made-up stories of rape and racist mistreatment at the hands of white cops in the late 1980s.

On the most recent edition of Fox News SundayWall Street Journal columnist Jason Riley blasted President Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, and activist/MSNBC host Al Sharpton for having “a vested interest in pushing a false narrative, which is that racism is an all-purpose explanation of what drives what's wrong in black America.”

When asked by host Chris Wallace to explain why there remains a debate in the U.S. over race and the criminal justice system, Riley pointed out that the “the left has no interest in being post-racial” despite pretending to be in favor of it.

Happy New Year, Comcast. Now do yourself and your company a favor and fire the man identified by Mediaite as ..really…””the most powerful man in America.”  Who would that be, exactly? “Outside of the president, Al Sharpton might possibly be the most powerful man in America right now.”

A Christmas Day article in the New York Times left no doubt which party they would leave a lump of coal for. The paper impressively managed to spin a current controversy into a problem solely for the Republican side -- as if crime has not long been a losing election issue for the Democrats -- by portraying the GOP as making knee-jerk, stiff-necked appeals to white fear.

Washingtonian magazine has revealed some of the really ugly behind the scenes turmoil and backstabbings that accompanied the departure of Meet The Press host David Gregory. The revelations are both shocking and hilarious.

The Nation’s Leslie Savan alleges that conservatives still are fixated on the image of the Rev. Al as “a radical and a race hustler,” and opines that “because he’s the best-known single figure in the growing protest movement, the right will blame him for any violence.”

Amidst all the Morning Joe talk about the Eric Garner case today, there was Al Sharpton looking out for #1. When Mika Brzezinski began to praise NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio for the absence of violence last night, Sharpton jumped in to shut her down and claim credit for himself. There's "the mayor and others," sniffed Sharpton, silencing her, but the real kudos for the lack of violence go to "movements" and "organized bodies."  Which movements and organized bodies, might you ask? Well, Sharpton—sporting a big button from his National Action Network—went on to praise the way a non-violent march on Staten Island had been organized by . . . Al Sharpton.

On Tuesday afternoon, MSNBC host Al Sharpton conducted a news conference with attorneys for the family of Michael Brown. Immediately following the news conference, MSNBC host Ronan Farrow expressed his outrage at the lack of charges brought against Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson for the shooting death of Michael Brown. Speaking during his Ronan Farrow Daily program, the MSNBC host proclaimed “Reverend Al Sharpton along with attorneys for Michael Brown’s family, Benjamin Crump and Anthony Gray, giving their first remarks since the incendiary announcement in Ferguson last night.”

MSNBC is no stranger to guest panelists from the New York Times, but don't expect Times writer Russ Buettner to appear on the network's air anytime soon as Mr. Buettner gave readers of the November 18 paper a look at how "Questions About [Rev. Al] Sharpton’s Finances Accompany His Rise in Influence."

Note to Hillary: hire Chris Witherspoon of theGrio as your presidential campaign spokesman--please! He could help set up a 50-state sweep . . . for the Republican candidate.

Appearing on Al Sharpton's MSNBC show this evening, Witherspoon defended Hillary against an RNC email criticizing her for expensive private-jet travel billed to the campaigns of candidates for whom she made appearances.  Witherspoon generated this gem: "they're the Clintons. They're American royalty. I don't want to see them flying on domestic Delta flights in first class. I mean, they were flying on Air Force One for eight years. How do you go from that to not staying on private jets and kind of having like that luxurious travel experience?"

The delusion is strong with this one.

On Friday's Morning Joe program on what remains of MSNBC, Al Sharpton, completely ignoring how late appearances in Maryland and Illinois by President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle coincided with significant deterioration in the situations of Democratic Party gubernatorial candidates in Maryland and Illinois, blamed Bill and Hillary Clinton, and not the Obamas, for Tuesday's Democratic debacle.
