Camerota noted that Senator Ernst "sponsored a bill to defund them," and spotlighted that "the argument against that is that Planned Parenthood provides a whole host of services beyond abortion services. They provide birth control; they provide cancer screenings that...tens of thousands of women and men rely upon."

On Tuesday's New Day, CNN's Alisyn Camerota made no mention of the outrage over Planned Parenthood varying its abortion techniques in order to preserve unborn babies' organs for medical research, as was revealed in two undercover videos. Instead, Camerota zeroed in on "these representatives from Planned Parenthood negotiating" over prices for these organs. She even touted how the "exchange of fetal tissue...obviously, does a lot of good. There's a lot of research – cures for diseases that come from it."

Slate writer Amanda Marcotte claimed this week that a drop in the number of teens having sex is the result of encouraging teens to use birth control and engage in sexual behavior. Meanwhile, she posited, education encouraging abstinence couldn't possibly, ever, in a zillion years, have anything to do with it.

The Brooklyn birth-control clinic to which Planned Parenthood traces its roots opened in the fall of 1916, but according to Molly Redden, there’s concern on the left that the two recent so-called sting videos have damaged PP’s reputation to the point that the organization might not even be around for its hundredth anniversary.
“That Planned Parenthood is the target of a withering attack by anti-abortion activists is no surprise,” wrote Redden in a Thursday piece. “But this time seems different, with some of Planned Parenthood's strongest allies drawing nervous comparisons to the 2009 sting operation that destroyed” ACORN. Redden contended that the videos have taken the focus from PP the “critical women's health care provider” and instead made it “seem like a sinister outfit that profits wildly from abortion.”

The New York Times editorial board has been called in to conduct damage control after the newest development in Planned Parenthood’s scandal concerning the haggling over and selling of organs from aborted babies. Over the past week, the Center for Medical Progress has released two videos from undercover investigations they’ve conducted with top personnel within the nation’s leading abortion provider. This has led to increased scrutiny of their practices, and calls for defunding since they receive approximately half a billion dollars in taxpayer money every year.

In a ruling handed down on July 15, a federal court issued a permanent injunction against the enforcement of the federal government's Obamacare contraception mandate against Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.
The same establishment press which gleefully and virtually instantly covered the July 14 setback suffered by the Little Sisters of the Poor in the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled that the order "must allow employees to have contraception coverage," has from all appearances ignored the Tyndale ruling for six days.

On Friday, ABC, CBS, and NBC's evening newscasts all ignored how the Obama administration issued the latest version of its abortifacient/contraception mandate under ObamaCare, which ignores multiple court rulings against it – including the Supreme Court's Hobby Lobby ruling in 2014 – and again tries to force religious non-profits to fund drugs that they consider to be immoral. Instead, the Big Three programs all devoted over a minute and a half each to the ticker tape parade in New York City for the World Cup-winning U.S. national women's soccer team.

The full-page advertisement from the far-left "Catholics For Choice" group spoofed the famous World War I-era "I Want You" military recruiting poster, and evoked the worst of 19th century Know-Nothingism.
