On Friday, Sally Kohn took to The Daily Beast to argue that we should all be heartened by the fact that  “The Religious Fundamentalists Are Losing.” In making her case, Kohn compared Christian ‘hardliners’ – you social conservative ones who are pro-life and pro-traditional marriage – with DAESH, or ISIS as many in the West know it.

On the heels of news that he’s slipped to third place in the network late night comedy show ratings due to his alienation of right-leaning voters, Late Show host Stephen Colbert proved why it’s the case on Thursday as he accused Republicans of not being Christians for wanting to put a hold on the U.S. accepting Syrian refugees, contending it's comparable to the KKK as an example of Christians committing acts of terrorism.

Never interrupt a liberal when he’s being superior in public – especially not if you’re going to bring your sky god into it. That is the takeaway from a recent article on (where else?) Salon.

In light of the terror attacks in France, #PrayForParis was one of the many ways people on social media responded to the events to show their support. Seems perfectly fine right? Not to Salon. You see, all the shock and horror caused by Paris shouldn’t be soiled by anything so tacky as prayer.

Doug Saunders, a leftist international-affairs columnist for Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail, attacked the many people on Twitter who were calling for prayers for the citizens of Paris in the wake of the terrorist attacks in the French capital on Friday evening.

The cover story of the December edition of Cosmopolitan is titled, "Sex Wish List." The article contains 24 sexual suggestions, all of which exploit the Christian and Jewish holidays. Most conspicuously, it includes a "Sex-Vent Calendar," a rip-off of the Advent calendar prized by Christians.

On Friday's Real Time on HBO, host Bill Maher aimed venom at a number of conservative public figures as he referred to Uncle Ben's rice in a racially tinged joke about Dr. Ben Carson, and asserted that it is President Reagan's fault that many middle aged white Americans have personal problems that lead them to drunkenness, heroin addiction, and early death, as the HBO host tagged them "Trump voters."

Only in Hollywood would writers come up with a story that uses a classroom chicken to prompt a discussion about religion. Yes, NBC’s Truth Be Told does just that in the episode “Psychic Chicken.” A dead chicken, to be precise. It goes downhill from there.

Wrapping up his interview with 2016 Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Thursday’s edition of The Lead on CNN, host Jake Tapper asked Cruz about the upcoming National Religious Liberties Conference he’s attending in Iowa this weekend and if Cruz is “endorsing conservative intolerance” since it's organized by an activist pastor named Kevin Swanson.

The writers of Law and Order: SVU are dragging the Duggar family back into the headlines - and defaming Christians to boot.

David Corn claims that there are "serious issues" about Ben Carson's Seventh Day Adventism faith. Great point, David. After all, for twenty years, Carson sat in the pews of a preacher who spewed "God damn America" hatred, a pastor that Carson chose to officiate his marriage and baptize his children.

Oh, wait: that wasn't Carson. It was Barack Obama, who chose Jeremiah "Chickens Coming Home to Roost" Wright as his personal pastor and faith guide. Never mind. On this evening's Hardball, Corn--an MSNBC analyst and head of the DC office of Mother Jones--claimed that Carson's religion needs to be investigated because it professes an end time. Guess what, David? All the Abrahamic religions do: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. It's not a question of if, only when. So take your religious bigotry elsewhere, Corn.

In a surprising twist, the normally superficial Good Morning America devoted an entire story to religious liberty. Even more amazing, this two minute and 51 segment aired in the 8am hour. This air time on ABC is usually reserved for cat videos and reality TV stars. Co-host Robin Roberts explained the story of the high school football coach who has “been told to stop praying with students on the field or he could get fired. But he's not backing down.”

Wonder if this latest lightbulb moment from Sally Kohn will win her another “Stupidest Analysis” award at next year’s Media Research Center Gala?

CNN political commentator Sally Kohn set off a firestorm Oct. 10 on Twitter when she compared fundamentalist Islam’s treatment of women to Christianity’s treatment of women.
