On Monday’s edition of Around the Horn on ESPN, analyst J.A. Adande was asked whether he bought or sold Redskin Jason Hatcher’s claim that calls --specifically an illegal hit call on Redskin Chris Culliver-- were due to bias on the part of officials toward the Redskins name.

Reason #47,321 to be glad you’re not a liberal: You get to enjoy your holiday and allow those around you to enjoy theirs. Not so for our left-wing counterparts, who mostly disdain Thanksgiving – along with Columbus Day, Independence Day, Flag Day, Christmas, Easter, etc. – freighting it with their liberal guilt and contempt for any one or thing that doesn’t reflect their enlightened world-view.

So while you’re eagerly tucking into your turkey and happily plopping potatoes on your plate, spare a thought for those fated to suffer through Thanksgiving though they know that what the Pilgrims wrought is nothing to celebrate.

Leave it to the liberal media to champion climate change for Thanksgiving.

On Tuesday, Think Progress listed the “‘Six Ways To Climate-Proof Your Thanksgiving.” Climate reporter Samantha Page offered tips to for “die-hard climate activist[s]” for Thanksgiving, when there are “emissions-heavy activities” and “tables full of food.”

Well, the Pilgrims just got an upgrade from the left. Whereas most Thanksgivings lefty media types disparage Pilgrims as genocidal racist imperialists, this year The Huffington Post wants us to remember they were a persecuted minority fleeing violence … just like the Syrian refugees liberals have decided America absolutely must accept on peril of its national soul. What a coincidence!

On Monday, Huffington Post published a piece titled “This Thanksgiving, Remember America's Pilgrims Were Refugees, Too.” In it, associate politics editor Igor Bobic compared the plight of the pilgrims to that of the Syrian refugees by declaring that American history boasts a tradition of “giving shelter to the oppressed.”

PETA and Hannibal are urging Americans to go vegetarian this Thanksgiving – by comparing turkey to human flesh.

It used to be the joke that a Puritan (aka Pilgrim) was someone who lay awake at night worrying that someone, somewhere, was having a good time. There aren’t many Puritans around these days. Instead, we have the joyless scolds at PETA, and some of their not-so-bright Hollywood pals, trying to ruin the holiday the Pilgrims originated.

Incest, infidelity, and possibly even child rape all amount to a healthy, healing, and loving relationship by Cosmo’s standards. In a recent twitter post, the “women’s bible” hyped an article normalizing not just sex between a half brother/half sister couple, as well as cheating and  sex involving a 14-year-old girl and “her much-older lover.” .

Disgusting and disturbing don’t even begin to describe the off-the-chart filth that is just another day at Cosmo.

The article raving “what it’s like falling in love with your sibling”  demonstrated there is no taboo Cosmo won’t pursue. It also affirmed the level of morality of the liberal left – zero. In what universe does “undeniable connection” of half siblings having carnal sex get associated with falling in love?

Fox’s Minority Report has lost its collective mind. On Monday night, in an episode called “Memento Mori,” MR attempted to blame the Church for thousands of years of scientific and medical darkness.

Tonight’s NCIS: Los Angeles episode, “Defectors,” was supposed to run last week but was postponed because of the Paris terror attacks. The episode deals with recruitment of American teenage girls for ISIS, which, sadly, is actually happening, and it is especially relevant in light of the female terrorist involved in Paris.

Hero worship can be a great thing, no question about it. Except it’s normally better when those we lionize for heroism are in fact heroes. The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend could stand to learn a thing or two about that.

Liberals are the source of nearly all of our angst when it comes to cultural erosion and social justice scare-mongering. However, they can sometimes be the best source of SJW (Social Justice Warrior) joking/mocking as well.

CBS just aired an episode of The Good Wife that brought the undercover videos exposing how Planned Parenthood sells baby parts to a whole new audience of millions – but whether the audience even knew the storyline was based on real videos is unknown. There has been a near media blackout on showing the videos, although CBS has aired the most coverage of the big three networks.

I suppose there was nothing overtly biased or overly offensive that went down on Sunday night’s episode of Madam Secretary. Unless, you actually have a normal and good understanding for what real tough-talk and inspirational military speech-making is.
