From featuring Mary on its December cover to airing an episode on the worldwide Marian devotion this coming Sunday, National Geographic is recognizing the gentle power of Jesus’ mother. While the show has not yet aired, Nat Geo’s project has already transformed the life of one person: photographer Diana Markosian.

The episode opens when a hero high school algebra teacher takes down a would-be mass shooter at a local movie theater, a la the Aurora Theater shooting. But before you get too excited, the episode’s title was “Mistaken.”

When Evan and his parents go to the third grade school play, they are told that a new law bans "any religious, spiritual, or gender-y connotations." Instead of Santa, this year will feature a "pan-cultural seasonal entity!"

Planned Parenthood supporters made surprising claims this past weekend. Among them, the abortion giant is apparently “pro-life,” and the term “sidewalk counselor” stands for “terrorist.”
Planned Parenthood held a National Day of Solidarity Saturday to show support for “access to safe reproductive healthcare, including abortion,” in the wake of the shooting at a Colorado Planned Parenthood clinic. As part of the nationwide event, hundreds flocked to All Souls Church, Unitarian in Washington, D.C.

I must confess I had low expectations for Donald Trump’s live tweeting of the President Obama speech Sunday night. Not because I doubt Trump’s twitter skills, mind you, but more because the speech was a complete dud, totally lacking in substance and devoid of any semblance of leadership. However, I should have known Trump would not disappoint.
