According to a recent Press Release from 2ndVote, sustainable outdoor gear and attire retailer Patagonia donated $67,000 to Planned Parenthood. And this isn’t the first time the $600 million dollar corporation has participated in left-leaning political activism.

Two new polls demonstrate an ongoing, deepening distrust of the so-called “objective” news media, especially among Republicans. A new Rasmussen Reports poll published on Thursday found 76 percent of Republicans and 51 percent of voters not affiliated with either major political party believe most reporters are biased against President Trump. YouGov.com found 70 percent agreed news organizations tilt to just one side of the story based on who pays the bills.

Thursday’s Morning Joe took the time to devote a whole segment to a new Netflix documentary entitled Nobody Speak: Trials of the Free Press. In discussion with the director, Brian Knappenberger, the panel lamented the supposed deplorable attacks by Donald Trump and his supporters on the media and First Amendment. Time was taken to mourn the demise of the "critical" news site Gawker, dead at the hands of Hulk Hogan, and Trump supporter Peter Thiel. “This seems so important,” co-host Mika Brzezinski said reverently of the conversation, “I am beginning to feel like everything he [Trump] does...is far more serious than we could ever imagine.”

On ABC’s Good Morning America on Thursday, while discussing the upcoming release of the Senate’s health care reform bill political analyst Matthew Dowd compared Republicans to naughty children trying to conceal misbehavior: “It’s as if you walk in your living room and your kids are trying to hide something under the cushion. You know they did something wrong.”

On June 21, 2017, the far-left group Catholics for Choice put an unsavory, anti-Catholic ad in The Washington Post Express, falsely accusing Catholics of “discrimination.” The aim of the ad is clear: coerce Catholic institutions into paying for abortion-inducing drugs by lying.

The ad featured a caricature of cardinal in pre-Vatican II clerical garb, pointing at viewers. A printed inscription below the image ran “We want YOU to help us discriminate.”

MSNBC is giving a show to conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt and liberals are predictably freaking out. The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday explained that Hewitt’s first show will air on Saturday, June 24. Writer Jeremy Barr added, “In giving Hewitt his own show, MSNBC is sure to raise eyebrows, considering that the network has been doing well mostly on the strength of left-leaning opinion journalists like Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell.”

Anderson Cooper wore his bias on his sleeve in a recent interview with former Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Cooper brought Bloomberg on his show June 20, to discuss his new coal documentary and failed to challenge him about the millions the billionaire politician spent to shut down coal plants.

HOORAY! We lost again!!! A reliable source of humor after Democrats lose elections is Vox writer Matthew Yglesias. A month ago Matthews was celebrating the loss of the democrat in the Montana special congressional election by declaring his loss to really mean a win for democrats. Yglesias continued mining this political comedy vein by declaring that the loss of Jon Ossoff in the George 6th Congressional District special election, after the party blew over $30 million on his campaign, really means that the "Republicans are in trouble."

On Thursday, Washington Post gossip Emily Heil grew downright catty in attacking Louise Linton, the fiancee of Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. "Maybe we are blinded by all the multi-carated bling, but are we reading this right? The soon-to-be wife of a humble public servant offers 1-percenter quotes that would ordinarily make a pol's PR machine wince."

Pity ABC, NBC and CBS News. If the fall TV season comes and Sean Spicer is no longer White House Press Secretary, they’ll have to talk about something besides Saturday Night Live. Like maybe … news. Spicer is rumored to be leaving the press shop for another job in the administration. And if he’s not the daily face and voice of the Trump administration, it’s going to be hard for actress Melissa McCarthy to reprise her lampoon of him on SNL.

On Monday, the news of a Muslim girl being killing in northern Virginian went viral as speculation swirled that she was the victim of a hate crime. According to police, the tragic incident was the result of road rage by Darwin Martinez Torrez, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador. That night, both CBS and NBC ignored the story, while ABC hid Torrez’s legal status. It took NBC until Wednesday night to mention the murder, and even then they censored his legal status while pushing the idea that it was a hate crime.

Syfy’s new show, Blood Drive, centers itself on a dystopian world destroyed by climate change. As a result, anyone who wants a decent life must partake in a gruesome race using cars powered by human blood. Syfy's description of the show is: “The Future: where water is a scarce as oil, and climate change keeps the temperature at a cool 115 in the shade. It’s a place where crime is so rampant that only the worst violence is punished.” Wednesday night’s episode, “Welcome to Pixie Swallow,” revealed that fracking is what led to the violent, depraved world that exists in the show

Wednesday night’s episode of NBC’s The Carmichael Show, “Cynthia’s Birthday,” presented a unique perspective on the use of the n-word. Jerrod Carmichael's family is appalled that his white friend, Drew, who owns the fancy restaurant they are going to for Cynthia's birthday, greets him as “my nigga.” There is discussion about leaving over the remark, but Jerrod defends his friend, saying that he’s “completely cool with it.” Jerrod’s father, Joe, (David Alan Grier) on the other hand claims that Jerrod was “racially slurred,” an occurrence “much worse than a terrorist attack.”

Fox Sports Radio’s Clay Travis says it’s all over for NFL-estranged Colin Kaepernick because of his recent Tweet comparing modern police officers to “slave catchers.” Late last week, a Minnesota jury acquitted St. Anthony, Minnesota, police officer Jeronimo Yanez of second-degree manslaughter charges in the shooting of Philando Castile.

In the wake of the Democrats' humiliating defeat in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District Tuesday night, members of the party were in a rush to cast blame on someone. And for many Democrats that blame fell on House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. Even with the loud calls for new leadership, CBS News decided to omit them from their reporting Wednesday evening. Meanwhile, ABC’s coverage simply brushed over them in a 40-second-long news brief. NBC was the only network to give the blaming serious consideration.
