Olbermann's Return Performance Ratings Bounce Fading Already

As NewsBusters reported Wednesday, Keith Olbermann's return performance ratings bounce was less than spectacular at a 35 percent increase over his pre-suspension show.

In his second night back, the "Countdown" host lost almost 40 percent of this gain:

• Tuesday's total viewers were 1,499,000
• Wednesday's total viewers were 1,352,000
• Last Thursday's total viewers were 1,114,000

At this rate, the entire bounce will be gone by Friday. Stay tuned.
