On Undercover Tape, CNN Producer 'Can't Stand' Chris Cuomo: 'Please Shut Up'

Project Veritas released another video on Wednesday of CNN New Day producer Jimmy Carr doubling down on his previous comments about voters being "stupid as s--t," but stepping into dangerous territory by suggesting his New Day anchor Chris Cuomo needs to go, and he and other staffers want him to "please shut up" when they have to listen to him on CNN in the morning.

“It came out and we were all going: ‘Oh my God, how is this guy [CNN producer John Bonifield] so stupid, he’s talking to everyone and telling… Saying X,Y, Z about CNN’,” Carr said. “Then I went… ‘Well, I talked to the couple of guys in a bar on Friday afternoon and I said things that we wouldn’t normally say.'”

“I mean granted, anything I’ve said to you I would defend on the record,” he told the Project Veritas instigator. “I don’t think I said anything wrong.”

Then he veered into the Cuomo territory, complaining that he doesn’t have the “gravitas” to get CNN to get a new and better anchor. He also mentioned that he doesn’t “have a brother who’s the governor.” Cuomo is the brother of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and the son of the late New York Governor Mario Cuomo.

After the Project Veritas instigator butters him up for being "a much better presenter" than Cuomo, Carr added: "I cannot technically say anything, but I can simply say there's a lot of us that spend a lot of time in the newsroom criticizing just the same points," he confessed. "We just can't stand the guy, like the way he talks. We're like 'Please shut up.'"

It's an easy guess that Mr. Carr is either going to be transferred to another program or he's going to be fetching Mr. Cuomo's dry cleaning for the next two years or so.
