Networks Skip Trump Bringing On Stage 'Angel Moms' Who Lost Children Due to Illegal Aliens

During his big immigration speech on Wednesday night in Arizona, Trump brought on a group of "Angel Moms" -- women who lost children due to crime by illegal aliens. My friend Cameron Gray at NRANews.com noted the media double standard when it comes to mourning mothers:

NB's Kristine Marsh illustrated that partisan tactic during the Democrat convention: ABC gave 11 and a half minutes to a preview of the "mothers of the movement," and only 13 seconds to relatives of those lost in Benghazi.

On Fox's The Kelly File on Thursday night, Angel Mom Mary Ann Mendoza complained to guest host Shannon Bream:

MARY ANN MENDOZA: I wrote two letters to President Obama after my son was killed because I started doing research and realized what a horrific problem this was in our country. I got no response from him. I know several others have reached out to Hillary Clinton. You would think, mother to mother, this would mean something to her, that she would reach out to us and would at least have something to say to us. She has nothing to say to us other than how she's going to protect illegals, how she's going to bring more unvetted refugees into this country. I haven't heard her once talk about what she's going to do for Americans, frankly. That frightens me to the country that we're going to leave our children and grandchildren.

Her son Brandon was a police officer and was killed on impact by a illegal-alien drunk driver going the wrong way on an interstate highway.

Usually, the term only came up through Trump or his staffers. Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Fitzpatrick worked the term into a contentious interview NBC's Today on Wednesday morning: "You are going to hear how he's going to just 11 million and others as well including sanctuary cities. There is no reason Angel Moms like Agnes, Julie, no reason people should have to lose their children at the hand of an illegal immigrant murdering them."
