Friday morning on ABC’s The View, co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Jedediah Bila fought over Republicans’ plan to defund Planned Parenthood when they repeal Obamacare. While Bila tried to present the pro-life position, Whoopi exploded in anger and frustration every time Bila spoke. Whoopi was all over the place, discounting things she disagreed with without actually making a counter-argument. She also claimed her “religion” taught her to pay for abortions for women who “need” this “service.”

After several months of New York Times angst over the supposed racist turn of the Republican Party, the front page of Monday’s New York Times featured a hostile report on a Koch brothers public relations campaign appealing to black voters, business reporter Hiroko Tabuchi’s “Koch Strategy Mixes Gospel And Oil Policy.” Beyond the “ultraconservative” labeling on the front page, Tabuchi found a left-wing environmentalist to smear as “racist” the attempt by the wealthy industrialists Charles and David Koch to convert minorities to their viewpoint on an issue.

The left-leaning Rockefeller Foundation just got a leader who served under one of the most liberal presidents of the United States. The Rockefeller Foundation chose former Obama official Rajiv Shah to be its next president, according to a Jan. 4  The New York Times report. Lefty organizations like the Natural Resources Defense Council have received funding from the Rockefeller Foundation.

According to the Texas Tribune, ABC News’ Chief Political Analyst Matthew Dowd is ”thinking” about running for Texas Senate as an Independent challenger to Ted Cruz. He told the Tribune that he has been approached by both Republicans and Democrats to run.

CBS This Morning and ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday awoke to the concept that maybe Russia didn’t cause Hillary Clinton to lose the presidential election.
