Searching for Mr. Good War

"We feel the mainstream media,” she tells Newsmax, "is focusing on the negative stories coming out of Iraq/>/> and very rarely highlighting the good news.”

WHAT??? American journalists, lying about a war? I've never heard of such a thing, except in Vietnam/>/>, Lebanon/>/>, Desert Storm, Iraqi war. Yeah...except for those wars, I've never heard of such a thing!

The above statement was made by Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, Chairman of the Kurdistan Development Corporation and Kurdistan/>’s High Representative to the UK/>/>, after their group decided to make commercials thanking America for delivering them from Saddam Hussein. Haven't heard of it? Big Surprise! They had first approached CNN, offering to buy commercial time for their gratitude, and were turned down.

After all, we can't have good news about America/>/> or our warriors, now can we?

OK, enough sarcasm. America/>/>, how much longer are we going to tolerate the outright lies, twists, and misleading nature of the MSM? They have gotten away with this for so long now that they are downright blatant about it. I give you Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather and Mary Mapes as the most pervasive examples.

They repeatedly claim our warriors are causing mayhem and murder among the Iraqi people, and yet the Iraqi people, in the few truthful articles you can find, sing a different tune.

Besides handing out candy and other surprises to the children--who adore our fighting men--they also supply medical treatment that most Iraqis have never had. Soldier kindness, just like them, consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty.

And yet such graciousness is ignored over and over again...why?

Now days, we have a weapon that we didn't have when Walter Cronkite was lying about Vietnam/>/>. We can look on the internet to find the truth from those who are actually living it. Trouble is, you have to search really, really hard to find anything under the tidal wave of leftist deception and MSM deviance. We can see that in spite of the MSM's fraud and the Democrat's whiny surrender flatulence, we are winning not just the war, but the people as well. They aren't just grateful; they are in love with the idea of America/>/>, and if the only thing this war accomplishes is to bring freedom to nations and people who have never known it, it was the right war, a just war...a Greater Love war. This war has Christ’s stamp of approval all over it, for it is purchasing the lives of our brethren with sacrifice and courage. Our soldiers know it, the Iraqis know it…the only ones who don’t are the ones with all the power.

We're winning, and that sickens the left and the MSM. Good news coming out of Iraq/>/> is bad news for them, and they are suffering. I say let's do the humane thing and put them out of their misery...and ours.

Keep the faith, bros, and in all things courage.
