GurbakSHHHH! HuffPo Fails to Mention That CEO Convicted in Brutal Domestic Beating a Major Democrat Donor

Have you noticed how the mainstream media is hiding the fact the CEO of a big tech firm who was convicted of brutally beating his girlfriend was also a major Republican donor? If you are scratching your heads in disbelief, you have every right to do so. You know for sure that if such a thing took place, the very first paragraph if not the headline would have declared him to be a Republican donor. The reverse is actually true as NewsBusters' Contributing Editor Tom Blumer wrote on Friday. He googled the name of the convicted domestic beater, Gurbaksh Chahal, and "Democrat" and came up with just three center-right outlets in the results.

Among those both then and now ignoring the fact  that the convicted domestic beater, Gurbaksh Chahal, was a major Democrat donor to the tune of over $108,000 was the Huffington Post. Here is their front page story on Chahal being fired as a CEO with absolutely no mention of his aid to the Democrats to the extent that he can be seen in the photo shaking President Obama's hand:

The embattled CEO of RadiumOne has been fired in the wake of a horrific domestic violence incident, Kara Swisher of Re/code reported.

The company's board of directors fired Gurbaksh Chahal on Saturday night, Swisher. The company confirmed the news in an email statement on Sunday, TechCrunch reported. According to Swisher, Chahal did not offer to step down.

The company said that Chief Operating Officer Bill Lonergan will be taking over as CEO.

Chahal pleaded guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence and battery charges last week and paid a $500 fine. He ducked 45 felony charges and jail time.

Chahal defended himself in a blog post on Sunday. In it, he denied the severity of the abuse but admitted that he "lost [his] temper." He lashed out at allegations that he beat his girlfriend 117 times, despite the fact that there's a video of the incident. He called the video "bullshit" and accused the media of spreading misinformation.

The rest of their article is also cleansed of any reference to Chahal as a Democrat donor. Oh, and a previous Huffington Post story about Chahal avoiding jail time? Well not only did he avoid jail time but the Huffington Post also avoided any mention of his Democrat donations in that story as well.

It's a pattern. If you are a Democrat donor caught in a scandal, little or no mention will be made in the MSM about your political contributions. However, if you are a Republican donor involved in even the smallest of scandals, that political affiliation will appear right away in all news stories.

As to the MSM mentioning that Los Angeles Clippers owner  Donald Sperling  donated only to Democrats?
