CBS Minnesota: Obama's 'Organizing For Action' Is 'A Non-Partisan Voter Advocacy Group'

Sometimes the level of misinformation from the media is staggering.

Take CBS's Minnesota affiliate WCCO which actually presented a report Tuesday claiming that Barack Obama's "Organizing For Action" is "a non-partisan voter advocacy group" (video follows with partial transcript and commentary):

Nina Moini: Obviously, the American people are sick and tired, too. In fact, the non-profit Organizing For Action, it’s a non-partisan voter advocacy group here in Minneapolis, also planning to protest this government shutdown today at noon outside the Social Security offices in downtown Minneapolis.

Apparently the "barackobama" at the beginning of the website's URL didn't clue these folks in:

Neither did the Obama logo:

And I guess these folks didn't know that this was Obama's campaign website prior to his election.

Welcome to journalism in America today.
