Obama Rodeo Clown Says Mask Had Nothing To Do With Race, Will Media Report?

As NewsBusters reported earlier this month, the race-baiting media went totally apoplectic when a rodeo clown had the nerve to wear an Obama mask at the Missouri State Fair.

On Monday, the rodeo clown in question, one Tuffy Gessling, spoke to KCTV in Kansas City about the incident saying, "I never did anything because of anybody's race. I don't care what color somebody is" (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

"I didn't do this to do any hating on anyone. I did this to be funny. I did it to be a joke," Gessling told KCTV.

Unfortunately, the way the media covered his antics, Gessling has taken a tremendous amount of heat beyond being fired and banned from the Missouri State Fair for life.

"I've had one lady spit in my face, called me a dirty name, spit in my face and walked off," Gessling said. He's also had five death threats..

"I've had somebody threaten to run me over," he claimed. "One of them wanted to burn the house down."

Gessling supported NewsBusters' assertion that rodeo clowns have been doing this for years.

"I didn't think anything more of it than what we've done 15 years ago, ten years ago, five years ago, when we've done it with Bush, Clinton and Ronald Reagan," Gessling said.

I myself saw a rodeo clown wearing a Bush mask at a local event in the previous decade.

But the Obama-loving, race-baiting media didn't care to investigate what's been happening at rodeos for decades.

The object of their affection was being lampooned, and not only can't they tolerate that, it was a perfect opportunity to bring race into the equation for the umpteenth time.

With that in mind, will media report Gessling inviting the current White House resident to see for himself what happens at a rodeo?

"If President Obama turns out, I would be honored to shake his hand," Gessling said.

Somehow I doubt Gessling's statements or challenge will get much media attention.

Stay tuned.
