Ted Nugent Calls Michael Moore and Piers Morgan 'Subhuman Punks'

Gun rights advocate Ted Nugent on Wednesday called Michael Moore and Piers Morgan "subhuman punks."

This was clearly in response to what the pair said about him on CNN's Piers Morgan Live Tuesday evening:

As NewsBusters reported Tuesday, Moore and Morgan spent almost the entire show trashing gun rights advocates.

They even took on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) for his announcement earlier in the day that he would not include an assault weapons ban in any pending gun control legislation.

Moore went so far as claiming that Reid wouldn't have made this announcement if his grandchildren had earlier in the day been gunned down at their school.

I'm not sure that makes Moore subhuman, but it certainly brings into question his humanity.

For the record, here's what they said about Nugent Tuesday:

PIERS MORGAN, HOST: I've got a tweet here from Ted Nugent. "You should ask Michael Moore this. Will you ever admit that your 'Bowling for Columbine' big lie is a manipulative, dishonest, propaganda smear against the good families of the NRA and the honorable American legendary freedom warrior Charlton Heston?"

MICHAEL MOORE: OK. Listen, OK. Ted and I are both from Michigan. But there's a reason why in Detroit we call him the Motor City madman. You know, he's been off his rocker for a long time. I feel bad about that because he actually had some good music back in the day.
