As Venezuelan ruler Nicolas Maduro struggled against violent protests against him, the U.S. based company General Motors had its means of production seized by the socialist regime Thursday. “General Motors tonight saying it's been forced to suspend its operation in Venezuela after the government there confiscated its factory,” announced ABC Anchor David Muir during World News Tonight, “GM forced to lay off 2700 workers, but vowing to fight this tonight.” Sadly, CBS was the only network not to report the theft.

The liberal media spent the entire campaign warning Donald Trump that bashing the media would be his undoing, but instead, Trump is president and the media further deepened the public’s disgust with their flagrant hostility. The same goes for TV's squad of "satirists."
Even the liberal magazine The Atlantic has published an article exploring “How Late-Night Comedy Fueled the Rise of Trump.”

ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. usually manages to toe the line between liberal ideology and hardcore reality. Their latest story arc takes the characters to a Matrix-like alternate world where the writers can make up any reality they want. In this case, it’s a world where we still have to deal with the “nevertheless, she persisted” line like it means something.

The National Geographic Channel announced on Wednesday, April 19, that it will collaborate with the Weinstein Company and rapper and businessman Jay Z -- whose actual name is Shawn Corey Carter -- to produce Race, a six-part documentary series that will offer “a stark and provocative look into systemic injustices in America.”

In a Denver church that opened today, the term “high priest” takes on a whole new meaning. After all, according to a Huffington Post article, marijuana is the congregation’s “holy sacrament.” April 20 is weed day, and the liberal media have made an over-the-top effort to highlight the drug. But amidst articles on cannabis cocktails and weed-growing “nuns,” the Huffington Post’s piece on Denver’s new International Church of Cannabis might just be the most disturbing.

In the wake of Bill O’Reilly’s exit from Fox News, USA Today on Thursday decided to highlight a woman who endured sexual harassment from someone powerful and is now the “torchbearer in the decades-long fight against sexual harassment.” Unsurprisingly, that woman is not Paula Jones or one of the women who stood up to Bill Clinton’s sexual harassment. It’s Anita Hill and her efforts to take down Clarence Thomas.

Appearing on MSNBC in the 3 p.m. ET hour on Thursday, during breaking news coverage of a shooting along the Champs Elysees in Paris, Daily Beast World News Editor Christopher Dickey was more worried by the prospect of France’s “very far-right party” using the incident as an issue in the nation’s upcoming presidential election than he was with the welfare of people caught up in the violence.

MRC Vice President of Business and Culture Dan Gainor called out the media for downplaying an Islamic connection to a recent shooting in Fresno, California. Kori Ali Muhammad, a black Muslim allegedly gunned down three white individuals and shouted “Allahu Akbar” when he was arrested. However the Associated Press tweeted the phrase in English as “God is Great.” The story only admitted later the Arabic phrase was uttered and the gunman was Muslim.

TIME Magazine just published its yearly listicle honoring the “100 Most Influential People” and a Women’s March organizer who just happens to also be a radical Islamist, made the list. While all three networks covered the annual honor in their morning roundups Thursday, none of the networks mentioned the more controversial names on the list, like Sarsour’s.

The awkwardness for viewers of MSNBC’s The 11th Hour on Wednesday had to have been through the roof as host Brian Williams tried to tiptoe his way through covering Bill O’Reilly’s axing from the Fox News Channel. This awkwardness, of course, has to do with Williams’s own scandal from 2015 that led to his own downfall from NBC Nightly News.

New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters hinted on Thursday's Morning Joe that Fox News's Sean Hannity be fired next after the network showed anchor Bill O'Reilly the door, Wednesday, in response to sexual harassment allegations. He lectured, "I think you have to look at somebody like Sean Hannity and question whether or not his -- almost propaganda-like attitude and programs every night is going to be acceptable in the minds of the family, which is clearly trying to shift the network."

Reporter Somini Sengupta continued demonstrating her strange hostility toward Nikki Haley, the U.S envoy to the United Nations, in “Trump Envoy Aims to Show That Rights Are a Priority” in Wednesday’s New York Times. The text box read: “A discussion in the Security Council draws criticism.” It’s a follow-up to Sengupta’s previously, and widely condemned, Haley-bashing and ardent defense of the United Nations, which is evidently not at all “corrupt” like Haley rudely claimed. Sengupta tried to put Haley on the backfoot from the lead in her new story.

In one Atlanta theatre, Bible stories are getting a shocking gay makeover. But the media has at least admitted the controversy. As the Southeast’s only theater dedicated to telling the stories of the LGBT community, the Out Front Theater Company is no stranger to gay plays. But not every performance is as controversial as Paul Rudnick’s “The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told” – a blatantly irreverent recasting of famous Biblical figures as gay and lesbian.
