On the inaugural episode of Newsmax’s Chris Plante: The Right Squad, conservative talk radio star Chris Plante and his assembled panel tore into the leftist media for ignoring the credible allegations of sexual assault of Tara Reade by then-Senator Joe Biden, in favor of non-stop coverage of the flimsy allegations by E. Jean Carroll against former President Donald Trump.
Plante wasted no time getting into the well-deserved media bashing. Plante opened the show by pointing out the media’s hypocrisy: “While the media is focused in a laser-like way on the E. Jean Carroll and her civil trial against former President Donald Trump. Everyone has apparently forgotten all about Tara Reade.”
“She's accused President Joe Biden of sexually assaulting her and she has pretty good standing here,” Plante noted.
“As far as the media is concerned, I think they feel like they hit her in the back of the head with a shovel and buried her in a shallow grave outside of Las Vegas,” Plante observed.
Plante then read from a recent Tweet from Reade warning that if she ends up dead, it won’t be because she committed suicide:
I want to make something clear if something happens to me, all roads lead to Joe Biden. Joe Biden and DNC political machine threats, bullying, and intimidation over the last three years will not work. I am not suicidal. And I should not be under investigation. Nor am I a foreign agent like maybe Hunter Biden is. I'm a private citizen.
Plante then turned to Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) who broke news on the Newsmax panel:
“Weeks ago, Marjorie Taylor Greene and I had the opportunity to interview Tara Reade. I found her to be one of the most credible witnesses I have ever interviewed in the practice of law or during my time in Congress. And what I can share with Newsmax exclusively tonight is that Marjorie Taylor Greene and I are sending a demand for records to the secretary of the Senate. Because we believe that Tara Reade's employment records will further corroborate the claims she has made.”
Plante marveled at the media’s double standard when it comes to believing all women. “It's amazing how ignored this woman has been. And she came in on the tail end of the pound Me Too movement, and we're all supposed to believe all the women until she came along,” Plante observed.
Co-host Jen Pellegrino then pointed out that it’s been “three years since we first heard from her, and it's been buried under the rug, the leftist media doesn't care unless it involves former President Trump and their woke Bible is believe all women, right?”

NewsMax’s Chris Plante: The Right Squad
5/8/2023
9:03:42 p.m. EasternCHRIS PLANTE: While the media is focused in a laser-like way on the E. Jean Carroll and her civil trial against former President Donald Trump. Everyone has apparently forgotten all about Tara Reade, who was, of course, accused—She's accused President Joe Biden of sexually assaulting her and she has pretty good standing here. She was on Joe Biden's staff when he was in the Senate, and she's told the story in excruciating detail. About Joe Biden, pinning her against a wall and using his hands to sexually assault her, and as far as the media is concerned, I think they feel like they hit her in the back of the head with a shovel and buried her in a shallow grave outside of Las Vegas.
They've ignored this story like nobody's business, and let’s share a piece of the tweet from Tara Reade, she said. ‘I want to make something clear if something happens to me, all roads lead to Joe Biden. Joe Biden and DNC political machine threats, bullying, and intimidation over the last three years will not work. I am not suicidal. And I should not be under investigation. Nor am I a foreign agent like maybe Hunter Biden is. I'm a private citizen.’
Now and there's more to the tweet, and we'll get to that in a little bit. But, Congressman you you've invited Tara Reade up to Capitol Hill to testify at long last, and I think she deserves her day and a chance to tell her story. None of the American media have interviewed her and Australian 60 Minutes crew interviewed her and the American news media has completely ignored her. It's good to be a Democrat, huh?
REP. MATT GAETZ: Weeks ago, Marjorie Taylor Greene and I had the opportunity to interview Tara Reade. I found her to be one of the most credible witnesses I have ever interviewed in the practice of law or during my time in Congress. And what I can share with Newsmax exclusively tonight is that Marjorie Taylor Greene and I are sending a demand for records to the secretary of the Senate. Because we believe that Tara Reade's employment records will further corroborate the claims she has made. I'm on the sub-committee that's supposed to look at the weaponization of our government, and nothing is a sicker weaponization than what her allegations set forth.
PLANTE: Yeah, and Jenn. It's amazing how ignored this woman has been. And she came in on the tail end of the pound Me Too movement, and we're all supposed to believe all the women until she came along—
JENN PELLEGRINO: And her story just disappeared. I mean, what has it been over three years now? Roughly three years since we first heard from her, and it's been buried under the rug, the leftist media doesn't care unless it involves former President Trump and their woke Bible is believe all women, right? But unless you're abused by Joe Biden.
PLANTE: Or any Democrat—
PELLEGRINO: Or any Democrat.
PLANTE: Bill Clinton and Mercedes, you know it's pretty typical of the news media and, you know honestly, as I say it all the time. It's good to be a Democrat because you can get away with murder.
