The Big Three networks have barely mentioned Rep. Trey Gowdy over the last year, providing a few brief soundbites between them. But that doesn't match the positive feeling Gowdy draws among Republicans. “I assume he’ll be a Supreme Court justice before he’s 65 or so,” fellow South Carolinian Sen. Tim Scott told National Review.
It's worth remembering that Gowdy may not be the media's favorite since he's drawn about 3 million views on YouTube smackdown from last fall on the media's sad performance on Benghazi coverage. “I’m not telling you how to do your job, but I’m gonna ask you some questions,” and suggested the media failed to provide “sufficient oversight.” (Video below)
These were his questions he wanted the media to answer:

-- Why were we the last flag flying in Benghazi after the British had left, the Red Cross had left?
-- Why did Ambassador Stevens’ requests for additional security go unheeded?
-- Do you know why no military assets were moved?
-- Do you know if the president called any of our allies?
-- How the did the mythology of a YouTube-induced protest gone bad become the official Obama administration position?
Gowdy concluded" "I am not surprised that the President of the United States called this a phony scandal. I’m not surprised Secretary Clinton asked ‘What difference does it make?’I’m not even surprised Jay Carney says Benghazi happened a long time ago. I’m just surprised how many people bought it."
That's because the media sold it.
