Health officials in Vancouver have already provided 100,000 free condoms to the roughly 7,000 ahtletes and officials at the Games. That's about 14 condoms per person. But as of Wednesday, those supplies started running dangerously low. So naturally, the Canadian Foundation for AIDS research decided to step and make sure there were no hitches in Olympic action.
14 per athlete wasn't enough? Remember, that's PER athlete - including women? And they ran out after 12 days?
Does this say anything about our society, not just the number apparently used, but also that the condoms are supplied? Also, is the IOC condoning the behavior by supplying them in the first place, or is this good anti-STD policy?
