For general discussion and debate. Possible talking point: new book outlines how Sarah Palin will be America's first female president.

'Sarah Palin: Poised to Become America's First Female President' by Recaldo Ochoa moves that Sarah Palin is well qualify and ready to run in 2012. Ochoa is confident that if or when Palin runs, she would emerge as the strongest Republican presidential candidate to challenge Barack Obama in the next election. Many view Sarah Palin appeal as only limited to the Republican base, but she has demonstrated that she can also draw independents as well, similarly as she did during the gubernatorial race in 2006 and the first three weeks of the McCain/Palin ticket. She has the exceptional ability, Ochoa points out, to ignite a grassroots organization during her campaigns--Republicans, independents and maybe even some Bluegrass Democrats.

Is this high school teacher right, or just wishful thinking?
