Following a joint statement on Thursday from Senate Intelligence Committee leaders refuting President Trump’s claim about being wiretapped by his predecessor, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and David Chalian could barely contain their glee, heralding the “clear rebuke” of the “third grader” in Trump who, they claim, could put the issue to rest if he apologized to Barack Obama.

Snoop Dogg recently pulled a gun on Donald Trump in a music video, and, then, his nephew threatened the First Lady. But the networks didn’t mention it.

On Thursday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer introduced a report on the “major battle” brewing over President Trump’s budget proposal by proclaiming: “The blueprint just out this morning already facing some criticism. So what's in it and which popular programs could see their funding slashed?”

Planned Parenthood is a hot topic in the media right now – but only when it comes to playing defense. The networks are silent on the abortion giant's many offenses. Multiple videos exposing Planned Parenthood’s gruesome practices now boast more than 55 million views on social media. But the three broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) still haven’t mentioned them.

Appearing as a guest on Wednesday's CNN Tonight, comedian and CNN host W. Kamau Bell declared that he was "more offended" by Republican Rep. Joe Wilson shouting, "You lie!" at President Barack Obama than he was at the depiction of President Donald Trump being shot at, during a discussion of Snoop Dogg's controversial rap video. Host Don Lemon oddly proclaimed that he was not bothered by the video "except for the gun part where he shoots," even though that scene is the primary reason people are criticizing it.

Far-left comedian Chelsea Handler is divisive, childish, crude and hateful, even while she criticizes President Trump for the same traits. In the following quiz, you'll find a selection of quotes - some are hers. Let's see how well you know this liberal darling. She's sure to shock.

On CNN's New Day Thursday, co-host Chris Cuomo said that President Donald Trump is like a "hoisted on his own petard." This remark occurred during a panel discussion regarding a House Intelligence Committee report concluding there is no evidence that former President Barack Obama ordered wiretapping of Trump Tower.

During an interview with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau aired on Wednesday’s NBC Today, special correspondent Tom Brokaw complained about President Trump’s latest executive order temporarily suspending immigration from a handful of Middle Eastern nations: “He's made another effort to shut down or at least diminish the opportunity for immigrants to come here. Another judge has stepped in.”

For all of its shortcomings and limitations, one very useful benefit of Twitter is that it has exposed the breathtaking ignorance of so many supposedly well-educated journalists. A recent stunning example involves April Ryan, who, after the first two pages of Donald Trump's 2005 federal tax return were illegally revealed Tuesday on MSNBC, tweeted: "So in 2005 @POTUS was not a Billionaire," because "He made in 2005 over 100 million dollars."

You know it’s bad when even the liberal Stephen Colbert is mocking Rachel Maddow’s non-scoop about Donald Trump’s taxes. The Late Show host on Wednesday devoted two segments to skewering Maddow’s hype-fest on the President’s 2005 taxes. After noting how the MSNBC host pushed the story on Twitter prior to Tuesday’s show, Colbert joked, “Rachel took us on an emotional roller coaster. Because, like a roller coaster, at the end you are right back where you started and feeling a little queasy.”

Thursday on ABC’s Good Morning America, anchor George Stephanopoulos blasted White House budget director Mick Mulvaney’s proposed budget as “dead on arrival,” complaining that it would never pass in Congress. Stephanopoulos even raised concerns about the budget not reducing the deficit, concerns the media didn’t have when Obama was in office and was proposing budgets that would massively increase the deficit.

CNN used the suffering of natural disaster victims to push its obsession with climate change. Meera Senthilingam, a CNN health producer, wrote early March 14, that climate change is causing “depression, anxiety and, PTSD.” Simultaneously, a late season snowstorm was unloading on millions of Americans. She described devastating stories of natural disasters and how they affected the mental health of the victims and, unsurprisingly, connected their suffering to climate change.

Whoever said truth is stranger than fiction has obviously not watched NBC’s new “mockumentary” comedy Trial & Error, loosely based on the real-life crime of Michael Peterson, accused of killing his wife in 2001. The series pokes fun at the recent popularity of true crime documentaries like Making a Murderer and O.J. Simpson: Made in America, and was inspired by a documentary of the Peterson murder trial called The Staircase.

Late Wednesday evening, news broke that another liberal judge had put a temporary hold on the implementation of President Donald Trump’s travel ban. And during CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360, commentator Van Jones voiced his approval. “An action can be ruled unconstitutional if it's on the face of it, it looks like it's a good thing but there's an intent that's unconstitutional,” he argued, “There's a discriminatory intent here. And the discriminatory intent of the Trump administration is clear.”
