Warren Can't Even Name One Good Thing Trump's Done in First 90 Days

Senator Elizabeth Warren was on Wednesday’s The View to talk about her new book, but it turned into the usual slob fest of friendly questions and Trump-bashing answers.

However, the interview started off unexpectedly, with libertarian host Jedediah Bila asking Warren to play devil’s advocate and name one thing that Trump had done “right” in his first 90 days in office. Warren, ever partisan, couldn’t even manage that and turned the question around to name everything Trump had done “wrong” in office so far.

The interview began with Bila confessing the first question would be a “curveball”:

BILA: Trump has been here for 90 days.

WARREN: Is that all? It's, like, dog years or something.

BILA: He has done a lot of stuff in 90 days. What has he done right so far? [ Laughter ]

WARREN: No. Actually, I take that question very seriously. Because, look. Obviously, I fought hard to try the get Hillary elected. I did not want to see Donald Trump as president. But he promised he was going to be out there for working people. And, you know, it's not -- it's not the what he says. It's not the tweets. I just keep watching what he is actually doing. And so in 90 days, he signed off on a law that makes it easier for employers to steal their employees' wages. He signed off on a law that makes it easier for companies that kill or maim their employees to keep it hidden. He signed off to make it easier for investment advisers to cheat pensioners and retirees, and to me, Trumpcare was, like, the whole thing in one microcosm. When he said, “Hey. I'm all in for a plan to knock 24 million people off their health care coverage, raise the cost for a lot of middle class families so that we can produce a tax cut for a handful of millionaires and billionaires.” So look. I wish he were out there working for middle class families and the working families and the working poor, but what he is doing is delivering one gut punch after another.

The fact that Warren couldn’t even muster a semblance of neutral or positive statement towards just one of the president’s efforts, shows just how partisan and extreme a politician she is, yet this is the same show which frequently bashes Republicans for being “extremists.”

Of course, Warren’s answer was like red meat for rabidly anti-Trump host Joy Behar. She followed up by asking her “why” Trump still had supporters. “They get nothing!” Behar added.

Warren claimed it was because Trump was the master of distraction and had fooled voters.

Sunny Hostin then asked, “Now that we have a President Trump in the White House, do you regret that decision [not to run]?”

Co-host Sara Haines added to Hostin’s question by asking, “could things have been different” if Warren had “jumped in earlier” to endorse Hillary Clinton. Warren took umbrage at that notion, acting as if Bernie Sanders had a legitimate chance at becoming the Democratic candidate, but said that she did everything she could to get Clinton elected once she was the forerunner.

As per usual, the panel and the audience hung by baited breath for each answer Warren gave. Instead of the constant interruptions Republicans get from the hosts, she was able to complete every answer, with dutiful rounds of applause from the audience after every response.
