Journalists on CNN, Thursday,  made no effort to disguise the disdain and rage they hold for the White House. Anchor Don Lemon compared Sean Spicer to the Adam Sandler movie Billy Madison. After playing an extended clip of March 16 press conference, Lemon mocked Spicer: “Did anyone see Billy Madison? The game show scene? ‘Everyone in this room is dumber for having listened to that.’ I hope that you're not dumber and I hope we're providing information.”

In an interview with Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlow for Friday’s NBC Today, correspondent Stephanie Gosk worried that the conservative media figure did not think it was “dangerous” for the President to criticize the press: “President Trump calling the, quote, ‘fake news media,’ ‘the enemy of the American people.’ That kind of extreme language, is that not damaging to our democracy?”

New York Times reporter Katie Rogers celebrated anti-Trump protests as “the new brunch” in the big-government stronghold of D.C.: “A City Where Dissent Becomes a Lifestyle.” Rogers’ story occupied two-thirds of the page, with photos down the middle from various D.C. protests and a long and fawning explainer of a photo caption, full of liberal blandishment.

A Wonkblog item at the Washington Post about immigrants who have been receiving food stamps allegedly deciding to cancel their enrollment has been sharply criticized for a headline change which occurred a short time after the entry went up. It was: "Immigrants are now canceling their food stamps for fear that Trump will deport them"; now it's "Immigrants are going hungry so Trump won't deport them." Despite the headline revision's alarmism, that's nowhere near the most serious problem with Caitlin Dewey's post.

NBC’s pro-LGBT propaganda arm, “NBC OUT,” recently published a piece about proposed “anti-LGBT bills” that will supposedly undermine “civil rights.” The article began with the story of “married” homosexual men who “became foster parents to two children, both under the age of 2.”

MSNBC's Morning Joe opened Friday's show with a juvenille montage of news and entertainment highlights. The one minute-and-fifty-four-second mix-up reel began with a reporter asking White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer whether or not President Donald Trump still stands by his accusation his predecessor ordered wiretapping of Trump Tower during the 2016 election.

Thursday on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, former DNC chair and ex-CNN analyst Donna Brazile appeared to talk about her time as chair and the scandal that ousted her from her 14-year-run at CNN. While host Trevor Noah asked her why she gave questions to the Clinton campaign before a town hall, he didn’t push back when Brazile defended her actions and downplayed the controversy as media spin.

After the Trump Administration released a budget proposal for 2018 early Thursday, the media threw a fit at the suggested cuts to programs like the Environmental Protection Agency and National Institute of Health. ABC and NBC’s evening news programs Thursday even hyped that the poor and those suffering from cancer would be hurt the most by the proposed cuts. Journalists also took to Twitter to express their dismay and outrage at the budget for daring to redistribute spending on these programs to national security.

There has been much rancor over gay conversion therapy programs for decades, but the topic has again been hotly debated as of late with Vice President Mike Pence’s support for such programs as well as Ken Blackwell, Domestic Policy Advisor to the Trump Presidential Transition Team. ABC’s 20/20 revived the debate in an exposé last week, as well. Though judging by the reviews, the exposé leaned heavily in favor of those who demonize such programs.

Late Wednesday evening, a federal judge in Hawaii put a temporary hold on the implementation of the White House’s revised travel ban. The development was celebrated by the left and championed by the liberal media. “There’s new fallout this evening after President Trump now faces his second defeat on his proposed travel ban. The revised ban blocked just hours before it took effect,” stated anchor David Muir during World News Tonight, Thursday evening.

In the Thursday night episode of Chicago Med, titled “Monday Mourning,” a teenage boy is brought in to be treated for injuries suffered in a fall he took. The surprise twist? His medical complications are brought on because he's been hiding that he's gay. Is there any show these days without a gay storyline twist?

The Big Three networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) pulled out all the stops and sharpened their knives for their effort to tear into the White House’s budget proposal on Thursday. “President Trump has unveiled his first budget proposal covering all the things the federal government pays for and how he wants to spend the money,” announced anchor Lester Holt during NBC Nightly News, “There's a lot more money for the military but there are critics who say popular programs and the poor would pay the price.”

President Trump's first budget proposed to end funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, something we at the MRC have advocated throughout our history. It's not fair that conservative taxpayers should have to subsidize propaganda programs that insult their political philosophy and assault their favorite politicians.

From abortions to guns, we’ve seen time after time the bogus liberal propaganda NBC’s Superstore aims to deliver. Not straying from the leftist agenda, veterans are now targeted as going crazy. On Thursday’s episode, it’s announced that the store will have an "integrity award" and Cloud 9 employees can vote for who they think best exemplifies this quality. Conservative store Manager Glenn attempts to get the award, by any means necessary.

On Thursday’s edition of the Fox Business Network’s Risk and Reward, the Media Research Center’s Tim Graham ripped MSNBC host Rachel Maddow and her epic fail regarding Trump’s 2005 tax return, equating it to “a Dixie cup full of sea monkeys” instead of “slay[ing] the sea monster.”
