MSNBC Laments Existence Of Pro-Life Men: 'He Doesn't Have A Vagina'

July 30th, 2022 1:03 PM

As the Saturday edition of MSNBC’s The Cross Connection puts it, things are so bad in America that it is understandable why Americans are Googling how to move Canada and one of the reasons why things are so bad is because pro-life men exist even though “he doesn't have a vagina himself.”

Namesake host Tiffany Cross asked panelist and DJ, Nyla Symone, “this has been a huge issue across the country… So, I’m just I'm curious, in addition to abortion, what are the other issues that motivate you and your friends?”

Continuing with her question, Cross made sure to add that it isn’t just abortion, “prior to that, voting rights were taken away, prior to that, you know, there was state-sanctioned violence that was taking our lives, so I'm just curious whether the issues to motivate you and your friends to not only get involved and stand on the front lines of democracy and help organize, you know, contribute 50 bucks if you have it, or door knock, what would be that thing?”

Symone admitted to hating “the fact that it took the fact that something is drastic as abortion rights being taken away for us to get involved, but I feel like it's so hard to keep up with everything that’s going on in the world, from your personal life, down to everything that's going on in on politics.”

Arguing she isn’t the only one who feels this way, she added “even before the pandemic, I remember, like the most Googled thing was how can I move to Canada? Like, everybody wanted to move out of America. Especially with the height of, like, black on black crime going on in America. So, honestly, I'm not sure what, like, next can help to motivate.”

However, an ad Cross played from a pro-abortion candidate, gives Symone motivation, “seeing ads like that, you know, keep the fuel running, because how can a man say what a woman's right, if he doesn't have a vagina himself.”

As if pro-life men aren’t horrible enough, Symone added a racial component:

I don't take well to anyone, especially somebody who hasn't experience something that’s something like abortion, giving advice on anything like that. So, I think at this point in my life, you know, I’m 27, I just turned 27, I’m at a place where, like, I respect my elders, but at the same time if you're not showing respect, especially as an older white man who's never been in a position like me as a black woman, I can't respect it.

There can be no doubt that pro-life men will survive knowing that Nyla Symone do not approve.

TIFFANY CROSS: So, Nyla, this has been a huge issue across the country. There is a gentleman running for the Senate in Wisconsin, Mandela Barnes, who's started pulling ahead of his primary opponents because of this issue. So, I’m just I'm curious, in addition to abortion, what are the other issues that motivate you and your friends?

What is something ,because somebody tweeted earlier, which I thought was a great point, it's not about enthusiasm, it's about motivation and if you're saying your group, your friendship circle, paid attention when something was taken away from you, when rights were taken away, but prior to that, voting rights were taken away, prior to that, you know, there was state-sanctioned violence that was taking our lives, so I'm just curious whether the issues to motivate you and your friends to not only get involved and stand on the front lines of democracy and help organize, you know, contribute 50 bucks if you have it, or door knock, what would be that thing?

NYLA SYMONE: Honestly, I do hate the fact that it took the fact that something is drastic as abortion rights being taken away for us to get involved, but I feel like it's so hard to keep up with everything that’s going on in the world, from your personal life, down to everything that's going on in on politics.

It’s like—it’s like-- all in a whole new world and even before the pandemic, I remember, like the most Googled thing was how can I move to Canada?

Like, everybody wanted to move out of America. Especially with the height of, like, black on black crime going on in America. So, honestly, I'm not sure what, like, next can help to motivate.

But I do think, like, that seeing ads like that, you know, keep the fuel running, because how can a man say what a woman's right, if he doesn't have a vagina himself. Like—

CROSS: Yeah.

SYMONE: --I don't take well to anyone, especially somebody who hasn't experience something that’s something like abortion, giving advice on anything like that.

So, I think at this point in my life, you know, I’m 27, I just turned 27, I’m at a place where, like, I respect my elders, but at the same time if you're not showing respect, especially as an older white man who's never been in a position like me as a black woman, I can't respect it. So seeing ads like that, if this is how the election is gonna be, I think we're going to be firing for a while.
