I'd rather we play an undefeated Alabama than a revengeful LSU.
As I'm sure everyone is aware, the officiating (and whining about it) in the SEC is so out of control that Slive (SEC commish) put the hammer down after Lame Kiffen's idiot remarks of last week. Then he fined Urban Meyer $30K for saying he disagreed with an official's non-call (no disrespect of the official, just disagreement).
Is the SEC going to keep it up by beating on the coaches (some of whom DO deserve it)? Or will they repair the horrible officiating....those SEC refs will overturn anything.
My West Craven Eagles lost a heartbreaker to Havelock last night 42-40. This gave the Rams the Coastal Conference title. Both teams will be in the state playoff which begins next Friday. Havelock should be seeeded either 1 or 2 in the 3A east region. Eagle finish the regular season 9-2. Last year they were 14-1 losing in the state 3A championship game. Indepence High of Charlotte which produced player like Chris Leak, Massaqua, Joe Cox and many others has fallen from its lofty perch as the premeire team in NC high school football.
DOOK-Carolina and it ain't basketball. DOOK is ranked in the top 10 in the nation in several offensive catagories. (DOOK had always been offensive to me.)
I smell an upset today. If Bama plays like they did against Tenn they'll lose.
Sooner-Cornhuskers- I can remember when this was the game for the Big 8 title. It is a shame that is ho hum now. It means something between the fans but nothing on a national scale.
The Heels started the round ball season last night with an exibition against-Belmont Abbey. They are very small Catholic school from the area where I once live. It sure was fari fight-HA. They open the season Monday against Florida International. There are a lot patsies on the schedule but they do play Ohio State, Kentucky, Texas, and Michgan State (ACC-BIG 10 Challege.)

The NFL is a tricky place, teams can catch up to you very quickly if you dont continue to improve. The Saints have been turning the ball over to much the last couple of games, that will get them beat if it continues. Also the Falcons ran the ball on them to much, if not for Atlanta having to play catch-up ball, it could had cost us the win. So I agree, the Saints should win, but they can't help the Panthers.
I remember not so long ago we were all so angry that we let Jake go and kept Brooks. What is going on up there?

Alabama is a better team than LSU this year. That 4th quarter was absolutely weird - clever Miles. In spite of some of the calls and Jefferson going out, Alabama is the better team. Now go kick some Gator a$$.
