MSNBC Guest: Maybe Bill Never Told Hillary About Quid Pro Quos With Foreign Donors

How bad are things getting for Hillary when a defender is reduced to arguing, in response to the Clinton Cash allegations, that Bill might have been a dishonest bag man, not letting Hillary know that people were giving him money in an attempt to influence her?!

On today's Morning Joe, responding to the Clinton Cash revelations, MSNBC contributor Dorian Warren said that Bill Clinton "could have been running serious game on many of these countries saying I'll talk to my wife, give me the check, and then never mentioning [it.]"

Think about it.  Warren's "defense" of Hillary was that Bill might have been scamming foreign countries that saw him as a bag man for Hillary. That Bill took their money that was intended to influence the Secretary of State but then never mentioned it his wife.  Can anyone possibly believe this?  And whatever happened to honor among crooks?

WILLIE GEIST: A lot of these speeches and this influence we're talking about were not the for her, but for Bill Clinton, but she will be held responsible fair or not for her husband, as well.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: But can I say this, though? Isn't it fair to say that if you're Secretary of State of the United States of America and your husband comes and goes [imitating Bill's accent] "hey, I'm getting paid $550,000 by Saudi Arabia to go give a speech" for an hour or whatever. I mean, most Secretary of States, boom, would they not, Mark, say okay, there's some questions, let's talk to the lawyers in the State Department, let's --

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: I know there are severe limitations on what ambassador spouses can do given the fact that their spouses are ambassadors. There are severe limitations. Everything they do is monitored and cleared by the State Department.

MARK HALPERIN: Clinton Inc., as we like to call it, played by different rules than a lot of other people in government did and is held to a higher standard than a lot of other people. It's a bad combination for her politically.

DORIAN WARREN: There's also the possibility that Bill Clinton could have been running serious game on many of these countries saying "oh, I'll talk to my wife, give me the check," and then never mentioning [it.] That's a possibility.

SCARBOROUGH: Oh sure.
