On Tuesday, the Big Three networks' morning newscasts all hyped President Obama's appearance on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live the previous evening. On CBS This Morning, Gayle King, a political donor for the Democrat, marveled how the President's "timing is good. He seems to have a lot of fun with 'Mean Tweets.' He takes it all in stride." On Today, NBC's Matt Lauer touted Obama's "phone drop moment" after he mocked Donald Trump on the late-night program. Media Research Center President Brent Bozell appeared on Fox Business, Tuesday, to condemn the media’s collusion with the Hillary Clinton campaign, exposing secret dinners between top journalists and Clinton staffers. Regarding the new WikiLeaks e-mails, Bozell named names: “Six reporters from ABC, including George Stephanopoulos, David Muir and Diane Sawyer. They are superstars. Nine from CNN. And this CNN is the Clinton News Network. Four from Politico, including Glenn Thrush.”

Major networks have downplayed Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server, but WikiLeaks revealed how one journalist told her to take it seriously and respond like Kennedy did to the Bay of Pigs disaster. According to Wikileaks, The Hill columnist Brent Budowsky sent an email to Clinton Campaign Chair John Podesta in August 2015 suggesting Clinton should respond to the email scandal the same way John F. Kennedy responded to the failed Bay of Pigs invasion. In the same email, he clarified that “publically” he has continued “defending [Clinton] with no-holds barred.”

Tuesday’s Good Morning America devoted more time trying to puff up the Obamas approval ratings than it did reporting on the latest news of his failing health care program. While ABC spent a mere 13 second newsbrief on the rising Obamacare premiums, they did two full reports and a newsbrief on the First Lady campaigning for Hillary, and the President reading “mean tweets” on Jimmy Kimmel last night. The anchors laughed over President Obama “having fun” on the late-night comedy show, but had even more enthusiasm for Michelle, the “rockstar.”

The baffled journalists at CBS  finally discovered what should be a massive story: ObamaCare premiums will skyrocket in 2017 by 25 percent. Yet, after ignoring the story on Monday, CBS This Morning allowed a scant 88 seconds on Tuesday. This is despite the fact that co-host Norah O’Donnell called the development a “big story” and “really interesting.” NBC, which also initially skipped the report, managed to cover it on Tuesday.

The politicization of ESPN the Magazine is complete, as the October 31 NBA Preview issue features a cover story interview of NBA star Carmelo Anthony by sportswriter turned Black Lives Matter! cheerleader Howard Bryant, “The truth according to Carmelo Anthony.” The cover shot featured Anthony in radical chic mode, sporting a black beret and unleashing a font of ‘60s-tinged cliches about the Baltimore riots and Colin Kaepernick.

According to Michael Moore, any person who votes for Donald Trump come November 8 is a “legal terrorist” cognizant of the fact that the candidate is “going to blow up the system.” In a recent interview with Rolling Stone’s Jason Newman, the liberal documentarian expounded on his new film Michael Moore in TrumpLand, which, despite the title, is actually about Hillary Clinton.

In the twelve weeks since the party conventions concluded in late July, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has received significantly more broadcast network news coverage than his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, but nearly all of that coverage (91%) has been hostile, according to a new study by the Media Research Center (MRC). The networks spent far more airtime focusing on the personal controversies involving Trump (440 minutes) than about similar controversies involving Clinton (185 minutes).
