Examiner.com reports that Charles "Karel" Bouley was fired Tuesday. Michelle Malkin noted that Karel is "playing the victim card." He whined that the station has fired "the most prominent gay voice" in San Francisco and blamed an engineer for his vulgarities being broadcast during a news break in the show.
Eyeblast.tv published the clip in question a day after it aired. Listen to it and decide for yourselves whether the station made the right call in firing Karel.

It got to the point where my friend and I would wager on how long it would take for the abuse story to be told. If the gay person was a guy, almost invariably he was molested by an adult male in power. Rarely it was that Daddy left and Mommy smothered him, but this did happen. For the girls, the same but reversed. Probably 90% of the time, Daddy is gone and Mommy smothers her or gets loser boyfriends, reenforcing the 'don't need a man' attitude. Once in a while, molested as a child, traumatized, men are bad, etc. Maybe MTV sought out these types, or maybe it's time to put homosexuality back in the books as a psychological disorder.

I've had gay and bi friends that were pretty mellow and normal, but they even admit the community are filled with whores. One of my friends told me he doesn't even admit he's bi because he doesn't want gay men hitting him up for a random encounter. I think the subject did come up at his work in a general conversation--and before you know it, another openly gay co-worker who is known for random and frequent sexual encounters, hit him up, of which he was absolutely disgusted and obviously turned the guy away.
I've seen gay men cheat on each other and even though it's hurtful, they don't seem to understand or really see the true ramifications of cheating. They just view it as "part of the territory".Whereas a man cheating on his wife and vice versa--no holds barred, it is WRONG.
Al lot of them have "open relationships" too. I know some married couples do, but it's not the norm and really looked DOWN upon.
I know there are gay couples that are faithful to each other. However, as a community they need to show me that they deserve marriage and well... they haven't so far. It's just living together for them it seems.

Every day since the election, there has been news coverage of protests from the unhinged liberal community against the successful passage of Proposition 8. This is the proposition that passed here in California that outlaws gay marriage. The voters in this very liberal state passed it. Now we are treated everyday to the protests, vandalism, and assaults on citizens who supported its passage. Interesting how liberals are always preaching tolerance and acceptance of all ideas....unless the ideas clash with their own intolerant, hateful view of the world. Karel got what he deserved and I also hope KGO radio is forced to pay a large fine by the FCC.

November 13, 2008 - 14:59 ET by DirjjI live in Northern Califorina, and KGO, where Karel worked, is a very very prominent AM station over here ( I primarily listen to KSFO though ). KGO has the strongest signal by far in the area, and can be hear throughout the West ( Alaska to South America on some occassions ).
Anyway. After the Karel controversy came out, I'd been tuning in to his 10:00 p.m. slot ( previously, that slot had been held for years by ultra liberal Bernie Ward, who is now in Prison on child-porn related charges ) to see if there were any repurcussions, and he hasn't been there. Now I know why.
KGO is a very left of center station. The only Conservative voice they has is Dr. Bill Wattenburg, and he's only on from 10:00p.m. to 1:00a.m on weekends.
All things told, Karel wasn't "that" bad of a gay liberal. At times, he did have some common sense, usually when he would rail against the extreme gays who were pushing their agenda too far. I won't miss him though . . .I'm just wondering what nutjob they'll install now.
