On Monday's CNN Tonight, during a discussion of Islamophobia with liberal CNN commentator Charles Blow and right-leaning CNN commentator Buck Sexton, host Don Lemon played a clip of a Saturday Night Live parody exaggerating the views of right-leaning Americans toward Syrian refugees, and then absurdly asserted that "it's not far from what some of the candidates are saying."

While awaiting President Barack Obama’s remarks on Wednesday concerning national security as the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, ABC News chief anchor, former Clinton staffer, and Clinton Foundation donor George Stephanopoulos couldn’t help but repeatedly gush over the President’s supposedly “forceful rhetoric” on ISIS following the Paris terror attacks.

Tuesday Night on The O’Reilly Factor, Bill O’Reilly and Bernie Goldberg discussed the ‘morality play’ created by NBC's Harry Smith on the Syrian refugee crisis, complete with Bible verses, as was previously documented on NewsBusters. Smith had tried to compare the Japanese internment with the refugee crisis. Bernie set fire to the idea when he said, “He [President Roosevelt] only interned Japanese Americans, and let's emphasize they were Americans, because they weren't white."

The Grinch stole Christmas, and now the Huffington Post wants to take away Christmas Dinner.

On Nov. 24, HuffPost praised a new report from London-based Chatham House think tank that encourages governments to create “financial incentives” to discourage people from eating  meat.

Taking its cues from Monday’s New York Times, Wednesday’s CBS This Morning offered a similarly fawning profile of some young girls in California who are “scouting for change” as they try to force the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) to admit them as members as they preferred the BSA over the Girl Scouts.

Hollywood is bursting at the seams with big names vying to support liberal candidates. But one internationally recognized singer just broke the mold.

In a BBC One special, 27-year-old Adele thanked former vice-presidential candidate and Alaska governor Sarah Palin for her rise to fame. It was a compliment Palin couldn’t ignore.

On Monday night's All In, in a discussion of the rock-concert shootings in the Paris terrorist attacks, MSNBC’s Joy Reid claimed that the National Rifle Association doesn’t care at all about the loss of life in shootings, and only wants to sell more guns.

Host Chris Hayes suggested from a devil’s-advocate position that when the NRA protested an effort to prevent people on the government’s terrorist watch list from purchasing guns, it showed “integrity” in maintaining their gun-rights position. Reid replied “there's nothing in the NRA's behavior that indicates they care about anything other than maximizing gun sales.”

You name the problem, Tom Friedman's got the answer: raise taxes on gasoline. Looks like Tom Brokaw's caught Friedman's gas-tax raising fever.

On today's Morning Joe, Brokaw proposed, as part of fighting the war on terror, raising gas taxes by five cents per gallon. Brokaw argued that it is wrong that the burden of fighting falls on just 1% of Americans, and that the result of his tax increase would be that "every time you go to the pump you have to think about what's going on elsewhere."  For liberals, any event is a good excuse to do the thing they love best: raising taxes.

Following in the footsteps of Monday’s CBS This Morning, the CBS Evening News featured on Tuesday a segment sounding the alarm on opposition to the U.S. accepting Syrian refugees with the comparison that those Syrians who have settled in the U.S. are facing “another brewing problem” in those opposed to their settlement (after having survived the horrors of the Assad regime).

Unable to resist a dig at traditional American history, FOX’s Grandfathered quickly tosses in a line describing Thanksgiving, the quintessential American holiday, as an unethical celebration. Thanks, Howard Zinn!

Thanks to some fabulous work by American Commitment’s Phil Kerpen digging through on Tuesday e-mails from Clinton State Department staffer Philippe Reines, he found that suspended CNN global affairs correspondent Elise Labott had communicated with Reines on multiple occasions to the point of taking marching orders over what she tweeted.

As we head into the Christmas shopping season, yours truly regrets to inform readers that the relative frequency of late-November media mentions of the "Christmas shopping season" is at the lowest level in all of the years I have been tracking it — probably meaning that it's at an all-time low, period.

This is Year 11 of an effort which began in 2005. Each year has involved Google News searches on "Christmas shopping season" and "holiday shopping season" (both terms in quotes). In the past few years, after Google News merged its archive with its regular one-month news results, I've made sure to only search on the past month. As seen in the graph which follows, this year's result is down to one "Christmas" mention for every 16.5 "holiday" mentions:

The Bible is the best-selling book of all time, but The New York Times would have to consign it to the ghetto for “Advice, How-To, and Miscellaneous” books. That’s what the Gray Lady has done to David Limbaugh and his new book, The Emmaus Code: Finding Jesus in the Old Testament.

Paul Bedard at the Washington Examiner revealed that on the newspaper’s November 29 best-seller chart, the Times didn’t put David Limbaugh’s book at number 8 on the nonfiction list, where it belonged. They set it aside in the "Advice, How-To, Miscellaneous" category.

The latest verbal battle between Megyn Kelly and liberal Fox News contributor Richard Fowler took place during Tuesday’s Kelly File over a Black Lives Matter activist getting right up to the face of a Chicago police officer as live coverage unfolded of protests in Chicago related to the shooting death of LaQuan McDonald.

On Monday’s edition of Around the Horn on ESPN, analyst J.A. Adande was asked whether he bought or sold Redskin Jason Hatcher’s claim that calls --specifically an illegal hit call on Redskin Chris Culliver-- were due to bias on the part of officials toward the Redskins name.
