More Than 21 Million Women Miss Work for ‘A Day Without a Woman’

While the liberal media race to count those who miss work for “A Day Without A Woman,” here's a number they’ll likely overlook: 21 million aborted women.

On Wednesday, International Women’s Day, feminist activists organized a nationwide strike to push liberal policy and “highlight the economic power” of women. The March 8 strike is the latest event by the Women’s March, a protest inspired by the election of President Donald Trump.

The post-inauguration Women’s March on Washington declared that (as Hillary Clinton once said), “women’s rights are human rights.” But while the event claimed to represent “all” women, the organizers rejected pro-life groups as partners and dismissed pro-life women with a pro-abortion platform. (The approved partners boasted hundreds of millions in donations from liberal billionaire George Soros.)

But not only does the Women’s March, along with “A Day Without A Woman,” overlook pro-life women, but it also blatantly disregards the millions of women violently destroyed in the womb.

According to the U.S. government’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States has performed more than 44 million abortions from 1970, when New York and three other states legalized abortion, to 2013, the most recent year for which the CDC has released abortion numbers.

Since women make up roughly 49% of the U.S. birthrate population, that means more than 21 million women will miss work today because their lives were cut short by abortion.

21 million. That’s more than twice the population of New York City and even more than the entire state of New York.

That’s more people than the population of countries like Cuba (11.4 million), Switzerland (8.3 million), Ireland (4.7 million) and just 3 million fewer than Australia (24 million).

While the CDC reports more than 44 million abortions from 1970 to 2013, that number is very conservative. Central health agencies voluntarily provide abortion statistics, and many states refuse to participate. Just for the 2013 CDC report released in November, California, Maryland and New Hampshire declined to report abortion numbers. In fact, California hasn’t reported numbers since 1998 – and could arguably perform more abortions than any other state because of its size and population.

The Guttmacher Institute (GI), once associated with Planned Parenthood, also releases separate statistics reported by abortionists. Since 1973, the year the Supreme Court legalized abortion in Roe v. Wade, GI counted more than 50 million abortions, according to National Right to Life.

As America’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood is responsible for roughly 7.5 million abortions since 1970.

To the liberal media: Look around you and see what it looks like today when women don't show up for work. Then also realize, that happens not just today, but every day. Every single day because of the atrocity of abortion.
