It is as cringeworthy as you would think… and then some.
British musician Billy Bragg covered iconic music legend Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are A Changin’” with his own lyrics bashing newly elected President Donald trump.
His new scintillating and stunningly ironic lyrics include that he fears the “mob he’s [Trump] inciting will soon break your windows and burn down your schools.” Less than a week ago it was anti-Trump protesters who rioted in protest of Trump’s inauguration, literally smashing windows of several businesses in downtown D.C.
Bragg is a self-proclaimed socialist who has supported “many humanitarian and left-wing causes.” Bragg has been harshly critical of Trump before. In a tweet on Nov. 9, 2016, Bragg compared the election of Trump to the election of….wait for it…. Adolf Hitler.
